Came in with chopped uneven hair and no frames because the last hairstylist failed me but Julian and Ruby fixed my hair with some beautiful face frames and kept my length. My hair felt softer and healthier. The hair cut wasn't expensive and I tipped 20$ thank you both for the amazing service !

I love love love coming to this salon it’s my absolute favorite! And ruby is my hair stylist she always gets me looking, like top tier! I appreciate her kindness and also her amazing staff. If i could give a 10/10 out of 10 I would.I definitely recommend this place for, haircuts and your color and style needs.

After reading all the positive and excellent reviews I read online about Ruby, I decided to book an appointment with her. And even though, I was running late to my original appointment, she kindly booked me for the next available time slot. I will admit, I was nervous visiting a new hair salon after going to Ulta in the past, however not only was I absolutely blown away with my trim and style, it was very affordable. Ruby did an amazing, quick, and professional job cutting my hair exactly how I wanted! She even took the time explaining what she was doing as she cut my hair, and not only that, but she was friendly and funny! I highly recommend her and will definitely be returning with her to book my future hair appointments at the SmartStyle Hair Salon that is inside our local Walmart! Thank you Ruby!

I came in for a long overdue haircut yesterday. I asked for a textured bob with long bangs. As a hairstylist for 20 years, I know the issues with my hair and how to communicate those to another stylist. I asked for a lot of texture as my hair squares out really easily and the corners of my nape are very heavy and requires a little thinning.I swore we were on the same page as she told me about the horrid Dora the Explorer Bob she received once. Please tell me why I look like a blonde Dora?! If that weren’t bad enough, after the 5 minute haircut, Ruby informs me that she won’t be finishing me and someone else will style me, which is irritating since she should have let that stylist take me in the first place. I paid for a blowout, which to my understanding is supposed to by a style. Not one drop of volumizer, heat protection etc was put in my hair and the stylist gave me the flattest blowout I’ve ever seen. No style, no effort, not once did that brush overextend. I immediately put my hair in a ponytail because i was so embarrassed to look like a 12 yr old Karen and that is when i saw how uneven my way too short bangs are. I feel unheard and taken advantage of. I won’t be back.The lack of response from a supervisor after several attempts speaks volumesWhat you responded to was an edit from a review left over a week ago. I never spoke to Ruby and this response doesn’t make you look good at all. Have a supervisor get ahold of me. I’ve made 2 requests on the website and this is my 3rd plea. I’ll be calling the salon nonstop until I get my money back. I worked for Regis for 15 years, I know how this works. I can’t fix my haircut until you acknowledge how bad it is. And it’s seriously so bad.Have a supervisor contact me by end of business day or I will contact the Better Business Bureau. This is about so much more than a bad haircut and attitude. I’m not going away, Ruby. And there’s no way you’re going to have a job once you finally get caught. I’ve never seen any stylist, especially a manager, avoid accountability so hard. This all could have been fixed with an apology and an offer to fix my haircut.

My girl Ruby set me right today! I came in for a haircut and she executed beautifully! As someone who doesn’t know much about hair, I trusted her with some suggested ideas about my haircut. She kept the vision but made the haircut fit perfectly with my face. She’s outstanding with her work and has amazing costumer service. Walked out a happy costumer. Will be coming back :)!

I had heard about Ruby and how she is a magical Hairdresser and works wonders. My hair looked and felt super Drab when I walked in. She did some magical treatment and then cut my hair, and I looked super Fab afterwards. She is like a magical unicorn when it comes to hair. She is beyond amazing!!

I had my hair cut by Ruby today, and I couldn't be happier. I had avoided having to it cut for far too long, mainly because I didn't want to face another disappointment. I went SHORT, which can be shocking, but not in the hands of someone skilled with their instruments (in this case, a razor). Thank you, Ruby!
