I came Christmas shopping with a vengeance! and left with a gift for just about everyone on my list! I appreciate the layout of this location. I was able to find everything that I was looking for! The only annoyance is that one must load their own items onto the conveyor belt, AND also load up the cart. I'm happy to say that at Costco, there are always two people minimum leading and packing them. Oh, well. Still Recommended! 4/5

Today is mayhem at Sam's Club the place has been virtually invaded. As a result lines are super long. Even for the self-check in option. Healthy choices are limited as compared to Costco. The Cafe offers pizza, pretzels and frankfurters discounted. They have a great nuts section with some unsalted options. So, always a great way to save money when you are on the Westside.

I bought a battery for my GMC 1500 pickup and had it installed. It took almost three hours to have it installed. A month later my truck wouldn't start or kept failing. I took it to the dealership to have it looked at. They determined that the battery had been installed incorrectly. They said that the positive cable from the under hood fuse block to battery fuse block was loose and caused the terminal to melt a hole on top of battery due to overheating. This caused a hole on battery top. This resulted in excessive voltage drop so the had to replace the positive battery cable, the negative battery cable and battery junction box. I also had to buy a new battery. Total cost was $1,352.80. I took the battery back to Sam's and returned it for a refund. I complained to the manager and told him that the incorrect installation was their fault and was very costly. I told him I felt they needed to do something to make it up and he said he would sent message and to corporate but as of today I have heard nothing. Very disappointed.

I have had so many issues with customer service at Sams. I bought a plant recently that was located at the very front of the store where the sliding doors are and as soon as we walked out the door, we noticed the plant had many brown leaves. So we tried to do an even exchange with the guy that just saw us come into the store and he said we had to go to the counter and do a return. This was the beginning of a huge fiasco where one of the supervisors pointed to the return desk, and didn't care to listen to my request. So we stood in the return line. Once we got in line for the even exchange, we realized that they wanted us to go back to the front of the store to go pick up another plant, bring it up to the counter and have it scanned. I might have to mention that my ankle has been swollen for the past few days due to an injury so it was hard to go do all these back-and-forth directives. When I approach someone leaving the store with my concerns I noticed that the line to get out of the store was now about 20 carts deep. Nobody could tell me the lady's name. This store does not have any customer service at all. There is never anyone at the jewelry counter, and all the employees do is just talk to each other and socialize. Maybe it's a good thing that everything is automated, and they already have the cashiers that let us get our own items and go. If people don't realize that customer service is the only thing that keeps their jobs, then I don't know what they are thinking. I don't think they get the link between keeping your job and good customer service. Keep doing the bare minimum with an attitude.

I was at Sam's Club on Mesa St. in El Paso, pushing my shopping cart, when I noticed an associate named Karen cleaning the floor behind me. She graciously pointed out that the creamer I had placed in the cart was leaking. She made sure I got a different creamer and thanked me for being a customer! Thank you, Karen!

Good selection but the service is terrible. I heard about some plants at the east side Sam's, but was closer to this location so I figured I'd try. It took asking 5 different people before I found out they didn't even have plants, then one extremely slow moving employee blocked two aisles for way too long. When we went to self check out, it took forever to find an employee that could mark us as over 21 so we could buy a bottle of wine.

The prices are decent here, but be very careful of all the intersections. This specific Sam's is always so busy with traffic from here and Wal-Mart. The gas prices tend to be lower in the area. It is normally very organized and the produce is fresher than many other stores in the area. The line to the concessions area is always so long. There were at least 25 people in line today as we were exiting. If you can self-checkout, do. The other lines were very busy. They were giving out samples today of Margarita mix, Estrella beer, smoothie drinks, and kabobs.

This was the Worst and LONGEST pick up experience EVER, from ANY store I've ever been to! Customer service was NON existent. I waited for about 20-25 minutes for a pick up, and I was the only customer there! Two other customers came, got their groceries delivered and left. The employee didn't even have the courtesy to come over two spaces to my vehicle and ask if I have been helped. I actually had to call their store's number, and after like 50 rings some girl finally picked up and took my information and said she'd let the pick up crew know I was out there. FINALLY some guy came out, took my order number and said there was a glitch in their system and my order didn't show that I checked in. Ok, fine, but what's the excuse for the employees that were already out there helping other customers with their pick ups? They could've came over to ask if I needed help. Pretty pathetic. Then, FINALLY someone came out with my order, only the first thing out of his mouth was, "I just got back from lunch so idk what's going on". So obviously the first employee told him that there's an upset customer waiting for him. They have the most rude and fake employees that I've ever come across. I could've went in to get my own groceries and been done before this pick up was even completed. If I didn't have to be somewhere, I wouldn't have even attempted the pick up to begin with. Horrible experience. That's to be expected from a bunch of kids for employees. They aren't trained to have any customer service. Thinking of cancelling my membership.
