Had a shipment for some equipment that we needed on Monday. On Monday I received an email stating I needed to schedule an appointment for Tuesday. Since we needed the equipment since Monday I asked to pick up the shipment. They told me I could show up at 8am to pick up my shipment at their dock. I showed up to pick up my order and now they want a letter from the shipper authorizing release which would’ve been useful information the day before. I called the shipper and they sent the email within minutes. And then the delay and confusion and additional charges to allow me to pick up at their dock. Save yourself the headache and use a better company.

Stay clear from this shipper, worst of everything, you do your part in communicating to them and they could care less of your issues. Not worth the headache trying to speak to management. If you are getting a scheduled delivery make sure you are prepared to wait longer and take it as a lost day. Their text messaging is more professional than the actual people that work at this company. Stay clear from these people. Customer service negative stars!!!

WARNING!!!! Do not use this service!!! Horrible! I drove over 1000 miles when they scheduled the first delivery, which no one ever showed. Was just told second delivery will not be coming (3 hrs before delivery scheduled) after bringing my entire family here for Christmas. They are the worst!!! Had to give them a star to write a review! Not even worth that!

I had a delivery that was a pallet with 8 small boxes on it. I asked the driver if I could just break the pallet down because it would be faster than pulling out my forklift thinking whatever I can do to get the driver on his way. A few weeks later I get an invoice for $107 because after I signed the driver told Saia to bill my vendor for liftgate service which was added after the fact. The other day I received a pallet with a water fountain on it and something was dropped on the box destroying the fountain. Over the last 8 years Saia has damaged three times as much of my product than any other freight carrier.

Very, very poor when it comes to service and relaying information. Not transparent at all. will charge with hidden fees, will give a time of delivery yet deliver when they feel like it.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Bought a Christmas gift for my husband and it got here the 22nd. It's the 23rd and I've been calling to make an appointment for delivery and no one answers. I decided to go pick it up in person and no one is there until Monday. Now I'm left hanging with no gift.
