We moved across the country with Pods a few weeks ago. We were charged a slew of fees, including a sizeable fee to insure the contents of our container. Everything was stored and strapped down as tightly as I could get it, yet the container could not even be forced open upon delivery. The driver literally had to turn the container vertically, just to get the door open as he said, “some of the drivers don’t always realize how much damage they can do by driving carelessly.” Despite our insurance coverage and claim with clear photos, they refused to do anything about it. Everyone that I talked to at Pods was very nice, but that doesn’t fix my damaged goods.

Moving out of California, we selected PODS to store our personal items and then move them to our new location. The pricing was fair and their service was absolutely awesome! We highly recommend PODS to anyone needing to move and/or store their personal items. Our experience with PODS was nothing short of FANTASTIC!

The cost of the unit, the condition of the unit placement pick up of the unit and billing or all laid out very simply with the cost being there, heaviest consideration, which was easily competitive with any other container company. I contacted great service.

PODS worked well for my move. I needed to have my household packed up and delivered over several weeks. PODS picked up my container, stored it for me, and then delivered it to my new home when I was ready to unpack. It worked perfectly and no one that I didn't hire handled my household goods.

PLEASE do not use this company. I am active-duty military and I even have a discount and this company still charged me excessive fees for basically nothing. I initially received orders to move to California, which was later changed to Kansas City. There was some temporary confusion where I did not know whether I was going to CA or KS, which is not unusual in the military. I planned on doing a DITY move to CA, but not to KS. All this company did was drop off 1 container and then pick it up from my house. They did not transport it anywhere. It was empty both times. I did not use it. They charged me $1,200 for dropping off the container and picking it up. This is completely unreasonable and exploitative.
