I was very nervous to go here after seeing so many bad reviews but I had the best experience! My home vet sent us here and they were so kindhearted and sweet to my husband and I. We ended up loosing our baby but they made us feel comfortable and gave us the space we needed. The staff took my kitty's issue seriously the moment we walked in and received the care needed. I loved all the little details that this place has to take care of their customers. There's a cute little coffee bar in the waiting room, in our room once our kitty passed they let us see him one last time and then told us to press the button on the wall that would notify them. I love that it gave my husband and I the privacy and space we needed. They also included paw prints of our baby which was a nice unexpected surprise. Will definitely be coming back for future pets needs!

Terrible. Blood analysis machine wasn't working so results were all skewed. At the end and $640 later the vet said she had no idea what was wrong with my dog. The next morning I took him to Southwest Animal Care Complex. He is fighting for his life with hemolytic anemia.

I had to take my little dog here. She had diabetes and one day her sugar went out of control. She was critically ill. The tech took her back immediately. They did everything for her, but evidently a vessel ruptured and she passed away several hours later. I was amazed at how compassionate the Dr. and staff were. The next day, I got a call from them asking me if I would like to see Sophie before she was cremated. Of course, I said yes. I arrived at the hospital and a staff member took me to a room with a rocking chair and asked me to sit and she would bring Sophie to me. I wasn't looking forward to seeing Sophie all cold and stiff but to my utter delight, Sophie was wrapped in a pink blanket. She was warm and not stiff at all. She felt like a live dog and she looked so peaceful and she looked like she was sleeping. She was beautiful and I rocked her and cried. Three weeks later, I got a package in the mail. Inside was the most beautiful sympathy card I've ever received from a Vet and her staff. Also there was a white round plaster piece. It said Princess Sophie on it and there were dragon flies painted on it as well. A black ribbon went through the hole in the top. It was handmade by the staff. It was the sweetest gift I've ever seen for one of my fur babies. I proudly hang it today. I was blown away by the entire experience and wish they could be my regular Vet. I am so very Happy I took her there. It was an amazing experience.

I honestly don't know how this guy can sleep at night knowing how poorly he runs the only 24hr emergency vet clinic. He must think he's invincible. No empathy, hires whoever with no customer service skills, zero care in following up with patients who have had horrible experiences to try and remedy it...like normal business owners would do. He doesn't care to fix or take accountability for anything, just takes advantage of owners because they are the only lifeline during such a horrible time... and he continues to get away with it! DISGUSTING...

This place is HORRIBLE!!! It's not even about what they charge, I would pay anything for my pet but the service they provide is unlike anything I've ever experienced. Please avoid this place if you can! The Doctor was the only decent person during the entire visit and actually handled our puppy with care... but the techs...MY GOD, they were the absolute worst every single one! They are SO rough with the animals, the way they handled them is questionable, forcing pets who are clearly in pain or scared and they don't care..zero empathy and they get angry and defensive when you question them or ask why they are doing what they are doing (red flag)! They techs here are extremely unprofessional, rude, and impatient towards the pet parents. They tell you to wait outside the room while they do labs then physically lock the door behind you and you can do nothing when you hear the dog yelping in pain, that's their policy... to lock owners out because it's a "liability" and "traumatizing" ....because that makes a whole lot of sense. When he finally unlocked the door I told the tech not to lock the door next time and that I'd be recording the rest of the visit. He immediately slammed the swabs down grabbed the paperwork and said "I'm done, someone else can do it" and just left - got that on video too which I would love to show! This guy should not have his job PERIOD. I wish I got his name but I'm including his photo. Request someone else immediately before he handles your pet or straight up abandons you and leaves you and your pet there with nothing. You want all this money payment up front but physically lock the owners out of the room and get mad when they record the visit? More red flags! What are ya'll trying to hide? They have some extremely poor and shady business practices that they think they can get away with because they're the only 24hr place in the entire city of El Paso and Las Cruses. Nah...I've seen so many other bad reviews that there's got to be something we all can do to put a stop to this!! I would absolutely NEVER EVER EVER go to this place again if I didn't have to.

Very pleased. My kitten ate half of his rubber food mat and bit into what we thought at the time was a lily. They were super efficient, took excellent care, and I was able to get him back way earlier than projected. They also made sure to refund me for costs I had up-fronted that they didn't end up needing. Great communication from staff.

they get 1 star because it doesn't get any lower.....they sent wrong pet X-rays, confuse pets with owners, you better have time to wait in the exam rooms(North of 1 hour), make excuses for wrong timestamps on images, wrong diagnosis.....just give the pet O2 and fentanyl, shell feel a lot better. upon discharge, "here's your pet, here are it's paperwork.....no one explains what was done.....BE SURE TO ASK!!!

Terrible experience. 6 hours and $650 later told lung xray clear and given cough medicine. My dog did not have a cough. They put dog owners in an exam room then take the dog away. Owners don't see pets until hours later and after they've paid. Very disorganized. Just leave the pet owners in the waiting area. I did not appreciate being left inside an exam room for hours. My dog was not examined in my presence. No detailed explanation of charges. They request lots of signatures regarding payment. Front desk knows nothing. Several pet owners were upset they were left in exam room for hours and knew nothing regarding their pets. Never again. Would not recommend to anyone. I did not get my dog until I was ready to walk out the door.

My pups eyes were rolling in the back of his head one eye was aware meanwhile the other was unresponsive and Before they could treat my pup for Parvo we waited 3 hours before we were seen and then about 35 minutes before they came in the room they weren't even aware he was even a male for a proper consultation. They wanted 3K up front otherwise they were not going to treat my pup. If i had known it was going to be that much and that long for my pup to be treated i would've taken him elsewhere. We eventually did the following morning and took him to the Far East Animal Care Center on Joe Battle. The level of experience, care and affordable prices was astonishing. in comparison from paying 3K we ended up paying 1.5K For my pup to get more efficient treatment and even updates through text each day my pup stayed which was about a week long.

Avoid this place at all costs. They immediately said my dog has congenital heart failure and that she has fluid in her heart and lungs before imaging was even done. They immediately wanted to drain the "fluid". After the imagine was done they didn't even show us.... All they care about is your money. One of the workers there, Ashley said "If it's not about the money then you should just do it"... wtf. They didn't explain any of the testing that was done. My dogs oxygen levels were slightly low and they basically shamed us for wanting to take her home and making it seem like she would die right away if we took her home. There wasn't even any compassion or empathy or explanations. It's like they just write you up a bunch of s*** and don't focus on the reason why you brought your dog in in the first place. We took the Imaging/X-rays to another Vet at Far East Animal Care Center right off Joe Battle and she said they were very hard to even interpret. So they took their own X-rays/imaging and confirmed there was no fluid in her heart or lungs, nor does she have congenital heart failure. If I could give 0 stars I could. This is my first ever Yelp review because it's absolutely disgusting how they wanted to charge us almost $3,500 for something that doesn't even exist. I urge anyone who is reading this not to take your pet here. UPDATE** 07/25/2022 We just received a refund for the X-ray consultation we never received. I'm still upset we wasted over $1,000 just for our dog to be improperly diagnosed. Absolute thieves. If you have an emergency or want to make an appointment go to Far East Animal Clinic off of Joe Battle they only charge $54 for initial visit as opposed to like $110 from this BS place, but more importantly they won't BS you.

The employees are over worked, they don't have lunch hour, they are forbidden to sit even for a minute, and they are provided awful schedules, that's why they are overworked to provide a good service.

I'd give this place zero stars if I could. So I show up to this place with zero people in the lobby so I felt like my timing was perfect since my French bulldog was in labor. The vet confirmed my dog being in labor with in 15 mins since I was first in the lobby so the shitty doctor told me it wasn't an emergency so if any other animals show up they'd be helped first and my dogs already in the back so I'm taking their advice my biggest regret. She didn't give my dog the c section til 5 hours later and I lost 4-5 puppies only the runt survived!!! They never called to inform me what happened, I had to call them my self by that time another shift had started and the current vet had the nerve to say I waited too long. Negligence to it's highest level they didn't wanna shut things down my dog even tho they charged me 3k for the surgery, they only care about making quick money anything that will slow them down they ignore I truly think someone should lose their license!! Please if you come here stick up for dog speak up if you feel neglected because my poor babies lost their lives 4 new lives so they could make a quick buck what a shame this place is!!

ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY. tonight on my way home i accidentally hit a small kitty with my car. i pulled over to check if they were alive and they were. unfortunately at this hour not many people were open. i called this place and asked if they would help. STRAIGHT AWAY asked if i was going to be financially responsible for the animal if not then no they won't help. no sympathy what so ever and no other solution than to call 311 which was also no help. i didn't know if this animal has an owner, so i was hoping they would scan for chip and see, but since i was not going to be paying them they couldn't care less. they don't truly care about animals they only care if they will be getting paid.

I'm really glad we have a place like this to go to for animal emergencies. The prices can seem really high but emergency services whether human or animal cost a lot. The people here were very knowledgeable and handled a variety of different emergencies while still taking care of our dog.

Over staffed, long wait times. Charged $110 just for vitals and waited hours only to be quoted another $2,000 to try to figure out what was wrong with our dog. They care more about making money than treating animals.
