We used to always go to PETCO when we were still living in NE. So when we moved to the west side we thought of just doing the service there still even if it's a bit far. When we arrived, the one who received us was so nice asked our baby's history and record and found the record as well in the system. She asked for any medical history for my dog,then went inside. So another lady came out and was ready to take my baby and asked again for the history and I mentioned to her again that my dog has epilepsy but controlled with meds. My dog is quiet, doesn't bark and was never aggressive. Then all of a sudden she mentioned that PETCO doesn't accept dogs with seizures anymore. I was shocked and told her that the lady before knew that my dog has episodes but never mentioned anything. Plus we used to go there always as I told her. She called her manager and her manager enumerated to me that no bath was done before just nail trim and buffing. I said it doesn't matter, my baby was catered before why can't they cater him now? She said they had a new policy for a year now not to accept dogs with seizures which is ridiculous because the last time I was there was less than a year ago and I never had issue. She felt sorry for us and told us that it's the new policy that she has many clients that stopped going coz of the new policy. I was so disappointed because this is the first time my furbaby has been discriminated because of his condition. I walked away because I will not let them handle him anyway, not after this. It's sad that just because one groomer is uncomfortable in dealing with seizure everything would change.

This is the largest Petco we've been to. It's very clean, staff is helpful, and they have a great variety of items. Join their rewards program, it's worth it!

Stolen Min Schnauzer My dog was stolen. I found the person who has my dog. I contacted the police. The police stated the woman said Petco called her to pick up the dog. I spoke to the General Manager this morning, and she stated Petco would never give someone's animal to another person. Can someone from Petco Corporate Office please explain to me why Petco gave my dog to someone it did not belong to instead of turning it over to the local animal control?

This is the second store where this has happened. Please start checking your shelf stock! I came home with canned wet cat food, not realizing that a few cans were expired. This store is out of the way, otherwise I would return it but it's not worth making the drive for $3. Just check your food before purchasing.

Please don’t waste your money! The dog trainer was very impatient and demanding with my playful and eager to please terrier mix. Only one other dog in class and the owner slapped the 9 month old puppy when he wouldn’t obey and the trainer said nothing. The trainer seemed very inexperienced and my dog became anxious and did not want to be close to her. The class was neither positive nor professional and when I talked to the manager she refused to refund my money. Please find a patient, experienced trainer and avoid wasting your money!

Took my schnauzer furbaby Bentley in for grooming on Valentine's and his face hair came out looking like it was butchered. Some nails were not trimmed and his paw trim was terrible. Poor baby had a ton of perfume on him. He kept sneezing and rubbing his nose so I had to bath him. This was his first haircut, and it is ugly. Never again will he go there.

This place is ridiculous!! There was absolutely no one in line in front of us. We waited for 30 minutes before someone finally came out while I was telling my son I was about to leave because they were taking too long and my dog was getting too excited. Two ladies finally came out from the back of the store talking and laughing. Make sure you check your glass fish bowl when shopping here! As hard as it is shopping with 2 toddlers and a baby then having to go back to return an item you bought that happened to be broken after putting a fish inside of it and it leaking all over my kitchen..... well if you're paying with Apple Pay make sure you ask for a receipt!!!!! Apparently they won't give you a refund even if you show them the purchase payment on your iPhone wallet app.... shitty customer service Why should I have to deal with receiving a gift card for a $22 BROKEN glass fish bowl when YOUR CASHIER DID NOT GIVE ME A RECEIPT AND THEN FOLLOW UP WITH "OH WELL THATS WHY WE RECOMMEND SIGNING UP WITH OUR REWARD PROGRAM...... Use your money elsewhere with better customer service!!!!!!

Petco has a huge variety of brands and products for your pets. It also offers numerous pet services, making it an essential store when you have a pet. Its an awesome store in almost every sense. You can tell the staff loves their job. I enjoy going because my pets are welcome and then I get super happy buying stuff.. and $120 later I am like Ooops. Yes, the store is amazing but a bit pricey too. Quality and Happiness does have a price.

I can't support this store anymore, we have had four terrible experiences with their cashier Tina. We have gotten her as our cashier every time, and all FOUR times she overcharged us and we had to go back and get it sorted. I have worked in the retail industry, I under stand mistakes get made, but four times in a row?? This last time she over charged us $64 and just like the last times, she blamed it on the computer. Another employee had to fix our transaction and was very kind to us, he said this kind of thing happens all the time with her. It's not worth dealing with her, we will be making the longer drive to Petsmart.

We've been working with Celeste for about 5 weeks now, training our dog, Cavani. Not only has Cavani learned many new things, Celeste is an absolute joy to work with. She's kind and patient, and she's awesome with my daughter and dog. ❤️
