Gonna rerate this clinic. My dog has a UTI for the second time (dog is 2 years old). When I went to see the vet the doctor did not order blood work nor gave my dog antibiotics for her UTI. Today I took my dog to the crossroads animal clinic in the Westside and the found that not only does she have a UTI but her red blood count and white blood count are low(abnormal for a 2 year old) the West clinic took X-rays and blood work. I do not recommend Montana Animal Clinic because they didn't give my dog the meds that she needed, plus they sent me elsewhere where that clinic didn't do anything also. Montana Animal Clinic did not go above and beyond to care for my dog.

Thank you Montana Animal Clinic for not going above and taking action on what my dog needed. Now my new vet says there are more problems with my dog due to the infection that might have spread to other parts of her body and not getting the correct treatment.

every technician there, receptionist and both dr detmann and dr schlieter are angels and i trust them with my pets. they truly do care for your pets health.
my only complaint is theres been so many new bad changes thanks to the new manager or hr person (whatever she is)... that person is a bully and is sucking the life out of their employees with their ridiculous new rules they implemented. charging to make an appointment and then to be quoted almost $1000 to spay a dog is insane.
apart from their prices being ridiculously raised, theyre not investing in new equipment or materials that can help the clinic be better (at least to make up for their high prices)
i hope the bosses from the other clinic at north east notice that this person they hired is killing the business. she is making them lose money and all of their long term clients .
this person doesnt even know anything about Veterinary medicine so God knows why she got hired in the first place

I’ve been here a few times because it was recommended to me. Every time I went it was great and fast service. Prices are not crazy either. Will continue taking my dogs here

First and foremost I have always loved that this place led me to fall in love with my job. Dr Dettman and Dr Schlieter are amazing doctors that will do everything in their power to provide the best care they possibly can. Unfortunately due to new management/HR I was unable to stay on board because the clinic should have been my only priority. As previously stated in another review, the staff and doctors have had the life sucked out of them. They succumb to quiet firing and intimidation ect. One of the most toxic and unhealthy situations I have personally witnessed and been told of. Anyways! Personally and professionally speaking Dr. Dettman and Dr Schlieter are the only doctors I would trust with my pets from this clinic. (Seriously take my word for it!) I have held off from saying anything but due to the amount of bullying going on and the ridiculous charges that are being made just to make a quick buck, I do advise seeking services else where. If you are unable to get in with Dr Dettman and Dr. Schlieter, these are doctors that I know do right by the clients and their fur babies.

Being coming here since their location in Chelsea. Best to call in to see what doctor is in for the day. Some only care about money not the quality, waited hours on Tuesday not worth it

The staff is very friendly and kind to all furry friends and the vet was very informative, she answered all my questions and gave me explanations.

The vet actually came in the exam room, which I haven't seen these days. It was nice to see them and the vet was nice. The vet tech was great too!

This clinic has recently sold out to a corporation and treats their employees like garbage. They are not family friendly and they only think about money. They have sucked the life out of the all employees including their vets. Not to mention they now pre-charge for making an appointment and other ridiculous fees. Go elsewhere. There are much better clinics out there that actually care about animal health care.

Today I had to say goodbye to Hatchiko,a family member for 15 years. He was a mostly outside dog and a constant growing up,exploring all throughout the house and see what he could get into. In his old age however,his health started rapidly declining and we had to make the difficult decision to let him go. The staff was nothing but gentle and understanding and they made sure to talk me through all the steps we would have to face for such a procedure. Such a caring and empathetic staff I would always be extremely grateful for what they have done. I assure you that your pet is in the best of care at this clinic. Words cannot express how grateful I am at how amazing they were,making this difficult procedure as easy for both of us as well as letting me stay with him throughout. I apologize for the roundabout and rambly review but truly thank you so much.

Thank God for wonderful staff and their God-given talent, for they brought my little dog Tootsie back to life. She was very ill and they knew what to do and things I should do after her surgery.
