Blackjack is the absolute best. You get what you pay for and their refurbishing process is incredible. I thought they gave me a new pair they looked so good.

Best boot store in El Paso. Amazing, handmade quality. Best selection of exotics that I’ve ever seen (and we’ve been to a lot of boot stores across the country). The employees are incredibly friendly and helpful. We even got a sneak peek of the boot making process. Great experience and I got an incredible looking pair of boots that are super comfortable too.

I was passing through El Paso on business and found Lagarto. The selection was outstanding and Jose was the best. I picked up some Triad snakeskin and have my eyes set on another pair in the near future.

I purchased a pair of Black Jack boots in Houston just before Christmas 2012. I paid $1150.85 including tax so they weren't cheap boots. When I got home to Atlanta I wore them to a dinner party and they hurt my left foot all night. Back home, the outside of my left foot was bloody. I was wearing dress socks. The boot's heavy stitching running vertically up along the dorsal side of my leg really stands out and rubbed my ancle raw. I was told at the store that some top bootmakers at Lucchese had left there and were making the Black Jack boots. I have several pair of Luccheses and none ever gave me any trouble. I rate these Black Jack boots as poor.

Ordered a pair of Black Jack boots made by Lagarto from Tim's Boots. I own many pairs of cowboy boots and have inspected hundreds of pairs. The stitching on the shaft of one of my boots disappears into the leather in areas. The other boot is perfect. First person I spoke to at Tim's after looking at a very big high resolution picture said yes there was a problem. Second person said there was no problem and it was just due to soft leather. Claimed there was nothing the factory could do to help. Not a happy customer.
