I've been looking for a great auto repair shop in El Paso and found it. My main issues that were taken care of were alternator replacement, leaking steering fluid, and a sliding passenger door that wouldn't open. 2010 Oddessy Van. Rick at the Alameda location kept me updated on quotes, timelines, and repairs completed by certified master mechanics. Fair price and great communication.

I was having problems with my Honda pilot AC not cooling and took it to El Paso Honda twice first time was a "HOSE" then my "COMPRESSOR" was bad. Then the guy tells me compressor is backorder..
So I then call JAYS AUTOMOTIVE and spoke to Rick told him what's going on.
RICK tells me bring it in and let us see what might be the problem. Well guess what not the "compressor"just that El Paso Honda did fill the Freon properly. it was low about 5oz,and now that Jay's automotive fix,filled and inspected,everything is working ? strong and cold!!!!

I highly recommend Jay’s Automotive-Alameda. I recently completed a drive from North Carolina to El Paso when I noticed the uneven growl of a wheel bearing that was on its way to failure. I found Jay’s Automotive-Alameda on Google and stopped by late on Wednesday to check it out and made an appointment for Friday morning after talking with Rick and Johnny. They are great guys, very friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy.
I dropped my 2011 Ford Ranger off at about 8:30am. A diagnostic test was completed by the technician and the results were documented on their website. A link was sent via text message to my phone, which was convenient. It covered 37 points inside and outside of my truck and included pictures of specific items checked. As I suspected, the inner and outer front left wheel bearings on my 2011 Ford Ranger needed replacement. At about 12:00, I received a text that my truck was ready.
The total was $332 which is a fair price considering the alternative of more than $2k to replace an entire lower control arm, spindle, bearings, brake caliper, brake rotor, and the other bits, which happened when my right front wheel bearings failed in January in NC. I was lucky though, it can be worse if your wheel separates from your car due to bearing failure. I was also given a voucher for a free oil change since mine was still good.
Overall, I was very pleased with the results. The truck is driving much better and I will be returning to Jay’s Automotive-Alameda for all of my auto maintenance while I am in El Paso.
