The financial institution is great, they really help the community and offer great services. Now the employees running the contact center need to be replaced immediately. The trainer Brian Bulko spent most of the time trying to take trainees to lunch or hang out after work. He also uses the award points to buy himself lunch every day. I had to learn everything on my own. Rosa the manager had me in her office multiple times for expressing my concerns and labeled me a trouble maker. My supervisor Kristena Sloan micro managed me the whole time I was there, she was very invasive. I couldn’t even go to the bathroom with her having or wanting to know. The QA team had no clue what they were doing. All the feed back I received was that they couldn’t hear my smile over then phone. Krystal Long needs to clean house and get rid of the favoritism. You have to be related to someone to move up. They announce job openings daily but never give anyone the opportunity.

Bad place to work because they hide all the bad things they do. The HR lady tells employees they will lose their job because she is dating a loans supervisor and she didn’t want to be in trouble and he has a wife. The managers didn’t help when we said something they just cover up what is happening. This is not a good place when HR is not safe.

GECU many of my friends have applied at GECU careers. Rocio Garcia always picks people that don’t have a lot of experience and she has her favorites. I found this very unprofessional and GECU needS to put a new person in that position. Thank you.

Main building.Parking lot is decent, always room for guest in the front.Clean. Friendly welcome.Negatives: waited over 20 mints to be seen from the department. Plus they asked for ID 3 times which was annoying.

Worst banking institution ever destroy and negatively dings your credit worst intrest rates 13% 14% garbage ratesThe federal credit union is way better and actually helps its people build instead of making things worseApplied for a line of credit hard inquiry dropped my credit score then denied my loan for not enough credit historymy credit score was a 739 before they denied meF U GECU your analysis will all be cursed and their lives will be negatively effected times 10 for everyone they have denied helpingI closed my accountsAnd so is my entire familyEl Paso we need to all stand together and leave GECU they are not Greater they are not El Paso they are not a Credit UnionThey are Robbers, Thieves, Crooks, and Decievers RTCD aka GECU FU GECU

Like to waste your time and run your credit to deny you, even though you make over 60k they "feel" they don't wanna add more debt when it's a debt consolidation in the first place and the money is there to cover. Go elsewhere instead of wasting your time here you'll be better off . Don't even get me started about their debit cards and trying to get ahold of a person to talk too.

Upsetting experience! Waited 17 mins in the drive-thru and was not serviced. I was only making a deposit?! The car next to me that arrived after me, sent up their transaction after me, was helped before me. And drove off while I was still waiting! I hit the call button to see what the delay was and the representative said, “We got busy, we’ll be right with you.” 5 mins later nothing.. I ended up hitting the call button again and asked for my deposit to be sent back down to me. What a waste of time and awful customer service. By the way, there were only 3 other cars besides me!

No sympathy for a family member who has passed. They will charge you multiple overdraft fees after freezing your accounts. DO NOT BANK WITH THEM.

I am fairly new to El Paso and purchased a new vehicle through a local Jeep dealership. I selected GECU as my loan provider due to the fact that they are local, fairly large and provided a great interest rate. This was a huge mistake and I wish I could undo this.It's 2022, yet GECU has no easy convenient way to pay this loan payment if you're not banking with them. I have to jump through hoops just to make my payment. I found the easiest way to be through the automated phone system, which is still difficult and charges a $5 convenience fee.I was told that the best way to avoid this hassle is to open and utilize a checking account with them, which I have zero interest in doing. I have been with my bank forever and do not intend on switching. This is just a sleezy way for them to gain more of your business. The other way would be to use my bank's bill pay service. These bill pay services have always been unreliable and I don't know a single soul who actually uses them.GECU get with the times. Make it easy to make your payment!!Until this is corrected, I would suggest declining a GECU auto loan unless you already bank with them. It will be a frustrating nightmare just trying to make your payment.
