Kind of old school - very tiny and stuff packed to the rafters. But they had what I needed and were very nice. Going back tomorrow. It's lovely to have a hardware so near where I live (the one on Mesa).

I would definitely recommend this hardware store, it’s small and compact yet it will probably have what you need. Prices are slightly higher than other stores but being so convenient (and local) it’s not a big deal. Definitely worth checking out.

I've stopped by a few times since they've opened and so far I'm impressed with just how much stuff they can squeeze into a small storefront. The owner is super helpful and very approachable. Their prices aren't quite as cheap as the big box stores but there is something to be said for only having to drive 5-10 minutes to get to the store. I live near downtown and El Clavo is super convenient. If you are working on a home DIY project don't hesitate to stop by El Clavo for your tools or materials.
