The only veterinarian I've met in El Paso, Texas that is highly intelligent and has common sense. I highly recommend this vet.

Dr. Klein is the SWEETEST woman on the planet!!! You can really tell she just loves every animal that walks in their as her own. My sweet dachshund was injured at the groomers and she worked with us for months to get her back to her normal self. Thank you so much, Dr. Klein!

Don't go here unless you have all day to wait. I tried scheduling an appointment for my dog to get vaccines and they told me they won't schedule you in for vaccines and just to drop by. Twice now either my husband or myself have taken a half day off of work to get the vaccines and after waiting for hours had to leave to go to work. I came today shortly after they opened and only one person was in front of me and after waiting for over an hour, the person in front of me still hadn't even been seen. I asked again if we could schedule a time to get the vaccines done because again I had to leave and they told me "no! You just drop by any time!" The trick is actually being seen after you get there.

Veterinarians are very kind and helpful. Front office help is always rude, don't acknowledge the customers, just keep chatting amongst themselves, and always in a rush to close. Nothing else matters near closing time! I've been here a handful of times only because it's closest to my home but I cringe every time I have to walk in there. The only consolation is the nice and caring doctors. Customer service is everything for a business! They need to be trained or give someone else the job.

This place was the best!! They were polite from beginning to end and fairly quick. We came in 30 minutes before closing and was in and out within an hour with disposition and meds in hand. The Dr was very professional and thorough and explained everything to me so I fully understood. She asked permission to do testing and gave me the prices up front. I would definitely recommend this facility if you are in need of a new place. She even gave my dog his first dose of meds by hand before we left. I heart this place!!!!

We moved to El Paso some months ago and had not yet established vet care for our fur children. We needed one of our fur babies treated on an emergency basis yesterday because he accidentally ingested some ant poison. I looked up veterinary clinics and hospitals that are located nearby where we live. I found Desert East's fabulous reviews promising and we rushed to the clinic. The immediate attention and treatment that our pup received saved his life. EVERYONE in this clinic is absolutely the best we have ever encountered!!!

Desert East Animal Hospital has been the only place we have taken our "kids" for care. Dr's. Kline and Hopp are absolutely the best and their staff are friendly and caring. Absolutely the best! Thank you.

I felt so welcomed even tho I walked thru the door with my sick pup only minutes before they were scheduled to close. The person at the front desk acted like it was no big deal. The doctor and his assistant continued to make me feel like they truly cared about my pup. I like my current vet, but Desert East is making me really consider switching to them permanently.

Loved how the vet treated my dog and was very helpful. Was able to make a walk-in and was assisted quickly.

I am usually skeptical of 5 star reviews on yelp or any other site, however this vet deserves every 5 of their stars. I took my dog in for cough today, because my usual vet refused to prescribe antibiotics after an X ray and other non essential tests totaling at $700 bill at far east el paso animal hospital/clinic. I called 3 weeks after a visit, for cough, nausea and vomiting and they refused to send in a script to walmart for antibiotics until I paid for another examination fee even though she had the cough on initial visit....sounds like a money scheme to me. I can say that during the visit at Desert East, both the vet and the tech were attentive, paid attention to detail and ultimately wanted what was best for my pup. The vet actually willingly took the time to explain things to me, instead of a vet tech coming in after a silent exam with an fee sheet..... like at far east. The vet at Desert East actually took the time to talk with me about the possible causes of the cough, and what may/may not be happening. I am a medical professional myself (for humans) and I truly and deeply appreciated the time and care this place took with my pup. I highly recommend this vet for any pets. It is a smaller operation than the bigger names hospitals/vet, but the service is amazing. Not to mention that it is at least half the price of the other animal hospital vets (based on my personal experience.)-----I usually refrain from writing an reviews but this vet is the best in my opinion. Would not recommend anywhere else.

They where great, my dog passed away after 12 years of being a part of our family. So naturally we could not just let go and decided to cremate him, it was the best decision and they where very helpful, thank you so much with your help we where able to deal with a very difficult situation. Thank you..

They REALLY care about your pets. We had an obvious emergency with our dog this morning. We first took him to Far East Animal Care because it was the closest to our house. They tried to capitalize on our emergency and charge us a $200 deposit and a $300 emergency fee visit. Instead we brought him to Desert East, they took him back right away, no outrageous emergency fees and no wait. They have very reasonable prices and care about you and your animals.
