I've been with Cricket for 20 years +. The main reason I went with Cricket when they first opened is because of their affordable plans . My first two phone I had so long they became obsolete. Then I had to upgrade to a smart phone. For an elderly person this can be frustrating and traumatic. Also for the many years that I was a manager in retail , one must have alit of patience and a good ear for your customers . Just recently my Cricket Nokia phone started to misbehave. It would freeze up, run slow , hang up on people and then the sim card just quit working. Having been a loyal customer for years I was sure they were going to take care of my phone and get it up and running. To make this long story short I needed my passcode for my Cricket account that I've had 20 yrs +. I've never needed to use it until now and I tried every passcode I could think of , none work . After calling customer service 5-7 times for assistance in resetting my code , they say a store manager has the authority to do it . That customer service doesn't have authority to reset. The store I'm at gas no manager . We then called several other stores for a manager and they say they're not authorized to do this procedure anymore. Everyone saying it can be done but that no one has the authority to reset my passcode. I came in at 10 am and it's almost 6 pm . Nothing has been done . I will say that the employee here in store has been incredible . Making several calls trying over and over to retrieve a code somehow so that I can reset my code, keep my same number of 20 years. I've continued to call customer service to get my passcode reset , waiting for someone to follow up with me . It's been 4 days..... Needless to say I'm not a happy customer especially when The Customer is always right ! The golden rule of nearly all retailers. This is my story and I'm sticking to it!!!!
