Extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service skills at this location. Both my husband and I had been going to this pawn shop for many years and the last time was to get a loan on a firearm. I assumed the retrieval process would be similar, if not the same as with any other pawned item. Nope not at all. The assistant manager failed to inform me that when I would go back to retrieve my item that I would have to do another background check to obtain what is already legally mine. All he informed me of that due to the fact that my drivers license is out of state that I would need to show valid proof of my vehicle being Texas registered. Which I did but then when I go back to get my item he informs me that by the way we have to do another background check. The state of Texas denied my firearm for whatever reason. Had I initially been told that a background check would be required again for me to retrieve what is rightfully and legally mine I may have thought twice about it and not done the loan because it wasn’t even for that much money. There was no signs posted inside the store and no mention of that to me by the so-called assistant manager, the district manager, however, tried to tell me that it was in the fine print of the contract that I had signed when I did the loan. Now you tell me who actually reads all the fine print when doing a loan at a pawnshop, especially since I had done this so many times with different items . They also refused to change the loan to an actual sale to at least compensate a little bit more for the money that I was out. This store has forever lost our business and that of any friends or family that we know. In the future post a big sign in your store and maybe have your incompetent assistant manager also verbally let people know about this so-called policy before agreeing to give loans out on firearms!!! I also sent my original purchase receipt to the district manager of that store showing to him that would I actually paid was more than double the loan amount that they had given me and he still wouldn’t budge!

Of all the Cash America locations, the Montana store is where they have always treated us very well, they are attentive and friendly, I recommend this location!

Good Staff, good customer service , clean store! I commend the Store Manager Mario also employees Daniela, Taisha, Juan ,Chris, Oscar and Marco! I recommend shopping at this Store they hive Good Deals !

Do not go to this store or listen to any of these people they will take your belongings and not want to let you have them back Gabriel the so called assistant manager is a novice doesn’t follow protocol or First Cash Policies or Cash America Protocol would not recommend this pawn shop to anyone…. First you will need to have a state issued photo ID such as a driver's license or a state issued non-driver's identification. The state issued photo ID is required to do both the pawn itself as well as the background check. Make sure your current address is on the state issued photo ID.
