solenoid and pressure weren't replaced as part of an overhaul, it cost me double!! I WOULD NOT REVOMEND THEM!!!

Took in my Camaro to "Better Built Transmission" to be serviced for transmission fluid leak from the torque converter. After 10 days, my vehicle was ready & as soon as I hit the road, the "check engine" light illuminated, then began a loud rattling sound. When arriving home, the shift lever suddenly came undone and stalled the vehicle, placing it out of commission. Fortunately, I hadn't caused an accident from their lousy work! They sent a tow-truck the next day & took it to the other shop "Montana Transmission." Finally, a few days later, the vehicle was ready again. Being uncomfortable with their lousy work, I checked the transmission fluid & was overfilled with 10 quarts. According to the owners manual only 6.7 quarts are required. $1,650.00 for fixing a leaking transmission & lousy work! Thanks a lot, "Better Built Transmission & Montana Transmission," (same owner) for putting my life, my passengers & other drivers lives in danger!!! I don't know how these two transmission shops have such good reviews. They must've somehow given themselves good reviews on their website to look like the service is good quality, but it's not!. So, be careful with these guys.Service: Transmission

My car has been outside this shop for more than 3 months and he has not worked on it once just keeps telling me hes busy. I don't understand how a shop called better built transmission doesn't work on transmissions. Don't bring your car here unless u want to loss money and just get the run around to get your car back.Service: Transmission

Have a 1991 Toyota Mr2 hadn’t moved in 10 years. Needed to get brake job along with fuel pump, fuel rail replaced and suspension work done. Robert was the mechanic who helped and handled everything in a timely manner.Had my car ready for my weekend cruise!!Services: Steering & suspension repair

I took my work van on January 16, 2022 to the west side location Robert was the person to assist me, he told me parts inside transmission needed to be change I agree to his price I didn’t have any contact for two weeks so I decide to call and he told me the van was ready that he just needed to go pick it up where he took it so I said fine another week pass by with no communication I called again he told me he was going to pick it up already which he kept doing the for the last other two weeks. This past week the same he told he was going to pick it up no communication at all it was like that for the rest of the past week, today Monday February 28, 2022 I called him at 10 a.mI told him I needed my van already he said he would go pick it up I show up at the location at 4:30 p.mCalled him he proceeded to tell me he would be back in an hour an hour pass by I call him he proceeded to tell me he got super busy that he couldn’t get the van. Now im just waiting for him to turn my van in “tomorrow” which would be March 1st, 2022. I see all the reviews but apparently Daniel either not working here no more because nothing compare to the reviews.Service: Transmission

Top notch work. My super duty didn’t need a full rebuild and Daniel notified me from the start with my internals spread across his tool box. I still went thru with all new internals required for a rebuild. Solid price, quality work, excellent communication sand quick turn around time. A+++++++

Very best service ever!!!! After I got ripped off twice by other mechanics, Daniel was able to HONESTLY diagnose and repair my car that I was refusing to give up on. A good friend recommended Better Built and I decided to give it a shot with all my hopes deposited into them. I AM NOT DISSAPOINTED the shop promise to fix my car within a a few days and they did as promise, I paid exactly wat I was told I would pay not a penny more. I got out of the shop extremely satisfied for the service that was so professionally done.
