Horrible customer service. Manager is extremely rude and uncooperative..if one tries to use their hard earned rewards, she doesn't like it and finds any reason to deny the use of rewards.. people, do not buy from this location..use the nearby Cielo Vista Mall location, the customer service is awesome over there.

We went to exchange a wallflower that my wife bought in December and my wife explained to the manager working at 2pm Sunday afternoon that the scent gave her a headache. My wife utilizes the app and during the time at the store she did not have a printed receipt. The manager was unwilling to exchange the wallflower and was more willing to reject my wife who wanted to exchange ONE wallflower for another my wife bought more at the store even though the manager rejected the request and did not advise that the receipt could possibly be on her email and make the situation better. Wife happened to have the emailed receipt but this was after we left the store. Overall, the manager shared poor customer service skills and the staff also looks like that is common thing based off the face of the person working the register while my wife was talking to the manager and the rest of the staff. There was nobody at the door to greet customers which was surprising to us as we walked in and the manager seems to have more of a dictator form of management style as I watched from a distance.

On August 25, 2023 I took 1 unopened product and 2 gently used products (used 2x only) to this location from a June 12, 2023 order. The associate who helped me returned the unopened product and lied to me saying they couldn’t take the gently used items back b/c they couldn’t resell them. I responded of course not, but the policy is we can returned gently used items. Associate informed me that they had changed the policy September of 2022. I believed her b/c she would know, right? Found out later the policy had *not* changed and finally got back to the store on September 20, 2023 to ask associate why she lied to me. Associate denies lying and new reason for not taking gently used product is it is outside the 90 day return period. Also, claimed product without transparent packing is used up. It is not. I wasn’t outside that 90 day window the first time I went and was lied to so I couldn’t return used product. Called customer service line and reported this store and associate. I work customer service too and lying to customers is very unprofessional and disrespectful. Just do your job even when you don’t want to.

I love these stores and we buy candles about once a week. My husband and I showed up to the store at The fountains 10 minutes before closing time and there was an associate at the door with keys. The doors where still open but she didn’t let us go inside saying they were already closed, I showed her the time on my phone and told them it wasn’t 6 yet and we still had 10 minutes. she lied and said the register time said it was 6 already. She was very rude and unwelcoming, why hire people who don’t actually want to work? Unless they are in the habit of having the wrong time on the registers then I know she lied to me. I’ve worked retail before, I understand wanting to close on time and get out fast but having an associate who would rather get out of work early than help a customer is in no way an asset for this company. I wish this gets fixed soon, until then we can find good candles elsewhere.

I can't imagine anyone not loving BBW.
I really like the easy access at The Fountains at Farah (you can park across the way!!!), But the staff is very friendly, helpful, and cheerful!
