I like this place, i just wish the storage would be cheaper like before. A car storage for $100 would be great!! But Joe the storage attendant is awesome !! Hes always very helpful and polite. Thx Joe !!

I'm in complete awe in how many excuses and lies one person can conjure up! A couple of weeks ago, my sister inquired about how much notice we needed to notify them to vacate the premises. The office responded 2-3 days. Fine- August 1st comes around and I told them I would be vacating in the next couple of days. This is where the lies and excuses start- Joe tells me they don't pro- rate towards the end of the month. I reminded him of the email but I told him to charge me for the month so I can make good on my end. The very next day- the storage unit we rented was completely empty. I reminded him of what we had discussed and he told me there was nothing he could do! His excuse was if I had told him yesterday he would have cancelled the process of charging the credit card! I told him I would pay for the two days and to give me credit for the remaining month! Nope- too late! Wow!

I was a customer of this storage facility for six years, and everything went well until I asked for the door on my unit to be fixed. The camera only covers the front gate and a few units by the office, not the whole facility. There were a few times when the gate was wide open after hours. I can't recommend Rio Mesa because security isn't that good.
