I hired John Ferguson to move my household after reading excellent reviews. I have been beyond disappointed. First, he sent a 3 man crew to move a 3,192 sq ft house with a 500 sq ft casita with only a local truck and trailer. After 2 loads for both the truck and trailer, all goods were not moved and I had to hire someone else to finish. None of his employees could back a trailer. They hit my gate and messed it up. One of my friends fixed it when Mr. Ferguson did not. While unpacking, I discovered 3 pieces of treasured pottery broken. Two pieces were very delicate pottery crosses. I told his employees I would pack those. Well, they put them in bubble wrap on the BOTTOM of a box with a lamp and an I-Robot on top. One is absolutely shattered. They put a pottery bowl in a box of heavy vases, with very little wrapping; it's in too many pieces to repair. Mr. Ferguson's response was for me to glue it back together. And, a portion of my Stickley library table is missing. He has failed to respond to my text regarding that. I cannot recommend John Ferguson Moving & Storage.

Me and my wife used this service when moving onto Ft Bliss and they were awesome. We had a 26' truck, and I was expecting it to take around 4 hours to unload everything and put it in the house. Our 3 movers did it in 2.5 hours. Not only was this a much better bang for buck, it really helped since I could only spend so much time away from my job. They also unloaded my motorcycle from the back with no problem. I "hell on wheels-ed" that thing up there and no way was I comfortable riding it down, but they got me taken care of. The only reason I knocked off a star was because they were supposed to call when they were on their way, but didn't. Other than that, phenomenal service.

Do not use pods. They left me stranded for 2 weeks without my bed or any personal belongings because they refused to ship my container to its proper location. They charged me 4,000 dollars for essentially losing my pod, charged me $59 dollars for weight tickets (weight tickets only cost 12.50 for one standard use, and even less if you have an account with CAT), and said my the entire weight of my pod was less than 1,700 pounds which is not physically possible. I have filed multiple dispute claims, and they refuse to return my calls. I have called my "costumer advocacy specialist" over 50 times and emailed her dozens of times, and still no reply. They are a scam for military personnel. I could go on about how they shipped my container to its proper location, but wouldn't release it from its storage facility. But, I'm tired of losing thousands of dollars and time to this shameful company.

This was by far the best experience I've ever had with a moving company. The company and the movers were absolutely wonderful. The movers called me 30 minutes before showing up. They arrived early and were able to stay a little later than planned to get everything done. They were fast and very careful with my belongings and packed the truck like it was tetris and at the end I still had room left. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone whose stressed out about a move because they made everything so stress free for me.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME / money. I picked this company to avoid having an issues. I had all my stuff packed up in boxes and easily ready to go. They confirmed with me a week before as well as the night before address & everything. The day of the move the movers arrived AN HOUR LATE! I was sitting in my business waiting for them, I called several times without an answer or any call! I finally found them sitting outside in the parking lot, they main mover was extremely rude with a horrible attitude the entire move. The 2nd young gentleman was great. Unfortunately they damaged a few of my items durning the move! I hired them to move my display cases to avoid having issues and unfortunately just had MORE ISSUE after issue. I called the owner to inform him of this and he literally said he didn’t believe they didn’t call me! I told him to check his call logs because serval calls had been made. He had promised to return my husbands call weeks have passed and he never called us back to fix this situation. It comes off very unprofessional, it’s extremely expensive and for this to go down is even further more showing me they have no concern for their customers. Leaving this review everywhere in hopes this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Waste of time and money.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND SHOWED UP AN HOUR LATE DIDNT ANSWER MY CALLS I CONFIRMED THE NIGHT BEFORE ALL INFO MOVERS HAD A HORRIBLE Attitude the entire move left me waiting for an hour with no call no answers movers are aggressive and had weird attitudes the younger guy did a great job but the man guy was horrible I called the owner to get this situation fixed he promised to call me back I waited a week he said he'd call me back on Monday or waited a week he still didn't call me so now I'm leaving review everywhere so nobody has to waste their time or their money with this company. Save your time and money!!

He was able to get his crew out within a couple of days. His guys were great! Very professional and listened to what we wanted. We had no issues at all! I highly recommend John Ferguson Moving & Storage!

It went very well although one of my favorite dining room chair was broken. I did claim it and the company gave me 5% off my final bill. I thought that was mighty fair of Mr. Gary Fergurson. The staff was very professional especially Bob, George and Glen. They’re all keepers. It was a pleasure. Thank you all very much.

I had an emergency move and John got a crew out to me Immediately. Frankly It was a not so great situation for me and I needed to be out quickly, his crew were professional and treated me with respect. When I told him that all boxes needed to be out the door Quickly they made it happen in a matter of 5 minutes. Thank you to John and his crew for helping me through one of the more difficult times of my life.

I used Ferguson previously in 2018 when my husband moved from Deming to El Paso. We were happy with the service they provided at that time so when we prepared to move our four bedroom home in November, there was no hesitation to hire Ferguson for the job! When I called their office, I spoke with Gary about receiving a quote and he suggested an in-home consultation to obtain a more accurate quote. Gary showed up at my home on time and the consul itself was short but concise. The day of the move, I received a text message indicating when the truck and movers would arrive at my house. Our move was rather large, so we had a total of three movers for the day: Dan, Danny Q & Jesus. All 3 of them were absolutely fantastic! They first walked our home to assess what needed to be moved before they started loading their truck. As the 3 movers were loading the truck, Gary showed up to my house to ask how the move was going so far. Gary also spoke with the 3 movers to see if the job could be done in 1 day (to be safe given the large size of our move, Gary booked our move for 2 days). They agreed the job would be competed in 1 day. We had quite a lot of furniture & boxes which had to be moved upstairs into our new home & Dan, Danny Q & Jesus magically did it without any items being damaged. The move was a total of 8.5 hours & although it was a lot of work, Danny Q, Dan & Jesus were very friendly, professional & an absolute pleasure to work with all day. We appreciate the movers tremendously! Just to show how amazing Ferguson is— a friend of mine had his move from El Paso to Dallas canceled the day before it was scheduled. I suggested he contact Ferguson for the long distance move & they were able to accommodate his move even though it was last minute. Moving is beyond annoying & super stressful but Ferguson made it a breeze!

Amazing group of guys! They made the stress Of a move basically nonexistent. The crew was very punctual and made quick work of the job. Though they were actually really quick, they were very thorough and careful with our house hold goods. I would definitely recommend these great folks to anyone preparing for a move. Extremely satisfied customer!
