Upon calling, I was told that they offered financial assistance. I was not asked if my husband had retired. I was very upfront about him being a Disabled Veteran and deceased. Upon arriving, I was told that I could receive assistance only if my husband had retired. My husband was honorably discharged because he became ill while serving.I am a widow because of the military. I do not understand why there would not be assistance for surviving spouses regardless of being retired or just a DAV.There needs to be better communication within the department.Project Bravo is horrible. That's who I was referred to. Thank you.

Definitely helpful to be able to print documents as a soldier living in the barracks.

The New Parent Support Program offered by the Fort Bliss ACS should remove the term “support” from their title. I scheduled an appointment with one of the personnel for a home visit. The visit is suppose to be a time for members of the program to observe and offer advice to new parents, which can provide peace of mind and reassurance for new parents who may not be sure if they are headed in the right direction. As a first time parent to-be, I was really anticipating receiving this service, as I’ve been having ALOT of anxiety and fear concerning parenting for my newborn throughout my pregnancy. Not to mention, the appointment had also conflicted with my husbands promotion ceremony, but I chose to miss it because this appointment was very important to me and he understood that. NO ONE SHOWED UP TO MY APPOINTMENT OR CALLED. Almost two hours later I received a phone call and voicemail requesting that I call back , only after I called and spoke to the manager, wondering what had happened. I never returned the phone call. I was too angry and very much disappointed. To say the very least I do NOT recommend this service. You are better off researching internally and/or reaching out to your own personal support group.

Mixed feelings about this place. The acs people tend to lack empathy, and make it kind of hard to get the actual loan. They can be sticklers. They seem a bit frustrated when you've had to go in multiple times, yet they encourage people to go when they need help. When asked what all do they help with they were vague and wouldn't elaborate so people wouldn't "take advantage" or something. The only reason why I am giving them 2 Stars is because they have helped me. Even if I did feel judged by them.

Very helpful when I 1st arrived. Lending closet was abundant with household items for me to rent out so that my famil and I could have some sort of sembalence of a home until our HHG got delivered. Also very flexible in extensions as well.

We were greeted at the door and was given a complete rundown of what was needed and what they cover to assist one of my Soldiers. Awesome job!

AGR Loan office is around back if you're trying to our process. It's not very well labeled on the building.
