I always review on personal experience. $300 for a water pump and a replacement belt. $135 for parts and $175 for labor. My car had been over heating and University Auto body & Collision (The blue shop to the left) was the nearest place I could make it to and walk back home without my car. I'd be lying if I said I would be able to move passed the over charge. They called me to let me know what was wrong with my car. I speak Spanish but am not advanced in words I do not normally hear. I understood that something serious was wrong with my car. I told them I wouldn't be able to pay that price since I thought it was something minor and I'd rather wait till I have the money to afford the fix. They called me back seconds later to inform me that there would be a 30-40 dollar charge for checking the car also suggested there could be two payments made of 150 each instead of a full payment due to its saving time and having to return and it being what I said I put aside for the fix. To add to this I believe that I was charged a "Women Tax" and a "You Not A Mechanic Tax" which are unrelated to each other. Is it right to feel that because you are a young woman seeking to get automotive help that they should take advantage of you. Is it right to feel that you have no choice but to pay nearly twice as much money for a water pump and car belt due to having to remove so many parts. 2013 Ford fiesta is what I have and it is not a struggle for an experienced mechanic. Before going I checked the reviews online and found 2. Today I check again and find 30 reviews. How this place keeps up passed a 3 star rating is beyond me. They are sexist, ageist and basically stealing by adding numbers to a cost.

They weren’t honest about fixing my vehicle. Rude customer service don’t waste your money here.

Took my truck for ball joints and and bushing. They saw they brakes would be needed soon and didn't charge for the install because they had take them off anyway. Only paid for the brakes. They don't mind you taking in parts for install. This was the clinic mechanic shop

I just wanted to say that this is two separate businesses with different names than the ones given here. On one side is an auto body shop while the other side is an auto repair shop. They don't have the same owners and their reviews are mixed together in an unholy alliance. Generally it is University Auto Clinic that I am familiar with. They don't overcharge you for their service. I think it is because they want you to choose them the next time you have need of an auto repair. Also, they do a great job of repairing your vehicle. Unfortunately, my vehicle is getting old. It is time to look for a newer ride.
