I would always book my out of town visitors and guests at the Echo but since they shut down there excellent restaurant I book them elsewhere. If they ever reopen the restaurant with the same quality as before I will resume using their services.

Classic old-style hotel is an Edinburg landmark. Rooms are inexpensive and pretty comfortable, but they have cancelled their weekday supper, which used to be pretty good. Still a good lunch buffet though.
