“We had the best delivery (or should I say pick-up) experience with the crew at The Exceptional. We purchased an unassembled upholstered king size bed which came in 4 boxes. We picked up at the store in boxes as we were taking to our second home in Houston. The crew there opened each box so every single piece could be inspected for damage (there was none). They then carefully repacked all the boxes and loaded into our enclosed truck. It took about 25 minutes from the time we drove up until we drove away, but I must say it was well worth the time spent. They also ran thru the assembly instructions since I would be putting it all together.I don’t how many times things are delivered to your home (never from the Exceptional) and there is an issue with damage followed by the hassles of return or replacement. If every store took the time the Exceptional did, there would be a lot less stress in this world.The four guys helping were all very friendly and accommodating and I can’t say enough about them or the process.Kuddos!Jeff SchmatzMcAllen”

“I really enjoyed this place. We were at a restaurant and they had their Christmas tree decorated with beautiful things, all things Mexico. I wanted to get some of the ornaments and it led us here. They had the ornaments I was looking for but so much more. They had a lot of beautiful stuff and if you have a place to decorate or what to pick up a gift that is unique and a good value I would recommend it. I think they have exceptional taste here.”

The store had lots of nice jewelry, eyewear, collectibles, purses, toys, home decor, personal care items and even some items for furry friends. “My favorite candy store.Went there today, and was a bit disappointed. The cashier associate Leslie 843037 was not greeting anyone, not asking for phone numbers and not even making eye contact. I saw others that were making their purchases after me. A big contrast from my last night visit the cashier associate then was very friendly 855948. She asked questions. I also have my name on the receipt, unlike the one from today. FYI The store was not very busy.”
