My wife and I were actually working with a dealer/ salesman from San Antonio. Went to Bert Ogden with a primary purpose of driving a couple models of Subaru’s. We were looking for a vehicle for our daughter that fit our budget. Salesman Jose got us into a couple of models for test drives. He was informative and polite. After test drives we communicated with both Jose and Michael (Sales Manager) what we were trying to accomplish. We told them we are working with another dealership. They offered us a better deal… but didn’t have a model in the color that we wanted. Michael found one and was able to get vehicle delivered the following day. Went back the following day and bought what we were looking for at a fair price! No BS … a very easy purchasing process.

Amazing and friendly staff!! Eric R and Mike V were so helpful and didn’t make us feel like we were being pressured into anything. Buying a car can be a scary experience and we’ve had some bad calls in the past but they really made us feel like family and stopped at nothing to make sure we felt at peace with our purchase. They answered all our questions and we left with our dream car thanks to them!!

Good luck getting anyone from the service department to follow through with setting up a warranty repair. I've had two different warranty issues. The first one took over a month to set up, and that's after MANY calls, voicemails and emails. Now I need a second warranty repair, but even after multiple phone calls and messages to get back to me, I've been getting the run around for 5 weeks so far!!

To say the customer service is lacking here is an understatement. We bought a car in May and since then, we have not only had to reach out to Bert Ogden Subaru to have them submit the paperwork to our bank to ensure they received payment, but they never registered our vehicle. We reached out to the DMV before contacting the dealership just to make sure the plates weren’t just taking awhile to arrive and we were told that the paperwork for our vehicle had NEVER been submitted. My husband reached out repeatedly to Bert Ogden Subaru and was put off onto other people and multiple departments with no one taking accountability and placing blame on whoever they could. Then, my husband was asked if he would rather register the vehicle himself, after we had already paid the dealership the registration fee. Only after our temporary plates expired and I decided to call for my husband so I could speak to a supervisor were we provided an extended tag. We have purchased so many vehicles at dealerships across multiple states, and this dealership is hands down the worst one we have ever had to do business with that has been incompetent in every aspect, aside from their lovely receptionist who was helpful and very sweet.

The salesman was great .
He answered all of our questions and walked us through the process.
But only after a month we found out our windshield fluid hose needs to be replaced and isn’t covered by the warranty.
We have a parts warranty and we purchased extended warranty and the car is brand new .
They told us to go through our insurance if we didn’t want to pay out of pocket.
Disappointed in Subaru of Edinburg
I don’t think it’s right to be charged $450 for a part that hasn’t work since we bought the car 1 month ago.

Johnny and Mario were VERY helpful and friendly. Any and all questions were welcomed. They made this whole process so easy, which I really appreciate because this is a very big commitment. I’m so happy with my purchase and glad that this is the team that helped me. 100% would recommend to friends and family.
