Very high priced $2.00 more on a gallon of milk .almost $4.00 on a loaf of bread. I think that spring store or even Brookshires in grand saline would have been a better choice. I needed to go to the feed store so I figured I would just run in to brookshire brothers $8.00 and change for a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk was a bit much. And yes I understand inflation has some part but in small towns I think it is probably price gouging with little to no competition just saying.

Very poor management. They have plenty of courtesy clerks, but there’s only been 1 curbside order employee working with no help or break.
They need to hire in departments they’re lacking.

Very clean hidden gem in downtown Edgewood. We were able to fill our water Jugs when Wills Point and Quinlan fill stations were out of order.

I love the small town "local" shop. I also understand that you pay more for convenience, but the produce and meat areas are subpar. Love our little grocery shop and will continue my family's patronage there. Friendly and helpful staff.

I shopped at this store weeks ago. A trip to this store is an interesting experience. It feels as though you have visited a carnival that is on its last leg. A carnival where the rides have mechanical issues and the carnival workers seem to be lacking interest. As I walked in, I noticed a lack of display stands, shelves, or tables for items being sold in the store. Not a problem, but a misseed opportunity to attract attention to particular items in stock. I see these displays in many other stores and it seems they can bring in some curb appeal so to speak. Next is the extremely HIGH prices. This location gives the vibe of a family store, but has prices higher than Walmart, brookshires, krogers, etc. I understand they offer locally produced products, but so do stores like krogers and Tom Thumb, and they don't compensate for that by driving the price up of normal brand items. I wanted to support a smaller store, but if I'm going to pay such high prices, I may as well stick to shopping at Walmart or Brookshires! This grocery store also didn't appear well organized or easy to navigate through. Lastly, the employees.....Where to start. I noticed some workers just walking around aimlessly and didn't once hear any of them ask if someone needed any help finding anything. I can easily ask an employee myself, but this is basic customer service. My checkout experience was lackluster as well. The cashier seemed uninterested in making any kind of small talk. I expected at least a "hello, how are you doing today?" Again, basic customer service etiquette. I dont blame the employees for this, but the atmosphere seemed depressing. This store needs some major upgrades. Not sure if there is a disconnect between owners and staff, but there is just a vibe in this place that screams a lack of motivation. Again, ownership may possibly need to be more engaging. After all happy employees make a happy buisness. I'm giving it 3 starts because the location is convenient, but that's it!

Brookshire's 8929 Hwy 34 south. This is my store. When I purchase E-coupon items, then get my senior discount, and collect points toward gas purchases, my bill is about the same as Walmart. The big difference is CUSTOMER SERVICE. The associates are always helpful and friendly. Yes, even the deli ladies. Today I passed at least 6 associates while shopping. Every single one greeted me.I think the store manager's name is Jason. If you want to talk to him don't look in an office. He is a hands on professional. His leadership inspires excellence. Nancy was my cashier today. What a pleasure!Just one more thing. It must be tough being handicapped. Not everyone in this world is a Rhodes scholar. This store hires the handicap. There is a job for everyone.
