Lake Oil Company is the BEST!!I, (being disabled and with a broken shoulder) was stranded at a small tire shop, which was not open. I had driven 2+ miles on the rim, as the NEW tire I purchased at this shop back in October of '23 ($120+) was literally shredded. ? like Hillary after the 2016 election, I limped across the RR tracks to the P.O., where a very kind lady called Lake Oil Company to come and assist me. Before I could make it back to the car, two gentlemen were there working, one getting the "donut" out of my trunk, while the other was removing my damaged tire. I mused, these guys must be retired NASCAR Pit Crew members. In no time, they had the donut on and old tire and rim in my trunk. The donut was almost flat as well, but one of them told me to carefully make my way to their station, where they aired / checked the pressure on all of my tires.Huge problem . . . I was flat broke and didn't get paid until the following day. I explained and promised I would come by the next day. I was dreading the cost, (living on a fixed income) as:• they came to me,• two gentlemen,• immediately,• in one's personal vehicle,• manual labor (no air tools),• gave instructions,• personable and respectful.$100+ is what I was expecting, yet they charged me a whopping $20 My opinion is worth exactly what you are paying for it!! However, I will DEFINITELY continue doing business with LOC, where I am treated with respect and I know they will not take advantage of me.I want everyone to know how God takes bad situations and makes them good, for His Glory. Not knowing I had gone to a "disreputable" tire dealer, I paid dearly for a rotten NEW tire, which caused me to go through numerous problems and costly expenditures, prior to ever being rescued by Lake Oil Company's reps. Please read on, as there is something more to be said about tires in general."Good to Know"Tires have a birthdate, printed on the tire wall in a round edged rectangle, and it should contain four numbers. The first two numbers indicate the week, and the last two numbers are the year that the tire was manufactured. The NEW tire, bought and installed in 10/2023 on my car was born in 2011 (a 12 y/o tire), and should never have been sold to me, along with the fact that the size was incorrect. Based upon several reputable websites, tires should be replaced after 6-7 years (based upon birthdate) and ANY tire over 10 y/o (although it looks great) comes with major hazards.Get Outlook for Android

First time getting an oil change and tire rotation here in Eagle Lake, TX. Wish I would have checked them out sooner. Service is Excellent! Highly recommend anyone to come here and get their car serviced. While you’re there go ahead and get some gas at the best price in town. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Customer Service alone will have you coming back???? Thank you again Lake Oil for providing such great care on my car.

This place is awesome….quick service, super nice employees , pump the gas and wash your windows!!! Haven’t seen that since the 70’s. AND, the plus is that their reg. gas is the cheapest in town…

They were closing but still served us gas.....full service! They pump your gas for you....haven't seen this type of service in Texas EVER! Usually an East Coast thing. Everyone was so kind. Gas prices were awesome. Gas quality long lasting! Will definitely try to 'run out of gas' here next time we're traveling this direction ?Fill up was $34..... averaging 24 miles to the gal. ⛽

I took 2 of our vehicles here and they are all very nice and they have reliable but quick oil changes. They even give you a discount on gas afterwards and wash your vehicle windows.I highly recommend this company, they are wonderful!
