I normally do not make these kind of comments or reviews but honestly I wanted to throw up with the smell in there. Most of the organic things look bad than the regular fruit. I do see mostly elderly shopping there but more fresh produce should be offered there especially with the prices.

I took item that was marked 19.99 on the shelf and of course no registers were open..in self check out the item rang up 21.99. After searching around for someone to help me the response was “Do you not want it”…I’ve been shopping there for over 11 years and there is a definite shift…young people standing around flirting and laughing while lines are backed up..customers asking for help and remarks being made as though the customers are always wrong..half the time the packaged meat is bad..I only go when I don’t have time to drive out of way to get what I need. I saw a hawk eating a rat on a cart outside and staff using carts to pick up trash and then just pushing them back in for the next customer to get. The carts are nasty..with the high prices we pay..we deserve better.

Let me start by saying - the store is nice and appears well stocked. It is also clean. It wasn’t crowded when I went, so that was a nice change from the larger location on Hampton.
While picking up items to purchase, though - at least 5 items were either expired or expiring today. In varying departments, which is disappointing. When I approached the deli counter, no one greeted me even though multiple staff were right there. Not even a hello. So, I have mixed feelings, but O will try them again if I’m down in the area again.

This grocery store is so old that all of the isles smell like poop ? I am also a DoorDash or who is disabled with multiple spinal diseases and the cart locked up on me and I had to carry a 24 pack of water all the way to my car. I scanned everything and I paid for it because DoorDash forces you to upload a copy of the receipt from now on. They say there’s nothing they can do. It’s just the system. I hate this store and I will not be coming back, and I used to work at this location back in 2005

I placed my order around 8pm Thursday for pickup Friday morning at 7. I did the same thing with Kroger. My plan was to pick up from Tom Thumb first, Kroger second, then deliver mom & dad's portion...at which time I would also unload and put up their portion of the groceries. I got a msg at 6:55 am that Tom Thumb was running late getting my order ready. I was NOT happy. Their excuse? I ordered two pkgs of USDA Choice Boneless Bottom Round Roast (on sale with digital coupon for $3.97 lb). They had to wait for the butcher/meat market guy/whatever they call him to come in and cut the meat, but he was late to work so my pickup was not ready on time. I called twice to check on the status of my order. I also called corporate. No one apologized for the problem...I could either cancel the whole order or wait till it was ready. THEN I get notified that the meat product holding up my order was not available and they offered me a three lb product for $39. Absolutely ridiculous! I said NO! I would have preferred picking up my incomplete order ON TIME rather than waiting over two hours, screwing up my schedule, and STILL not receiving everything I ordered. Duncanville Tom Thumb had been doing better but their poor attitude about my order has sent me back to Albertsons in Cedar Hill...which is where I will be shopping/placing my order.

Yesterday I clipped the Blue Bell digital coupon for the pint. When I got to the car and checked my receipt, I noticed I was charged regular price. (I can’t afford 4.50 for a pint). It was warm in the car so I put the ice cream in my bag and went back inside to CS. There was a guy in front of me who got 4 money orders, but I waited. Before when this has happened that I wasn’t given the coupon off, they’ve just scanned my receipt and given me back my $. Yesterday she wanted the ice cream to scan.Knowing pints melt fast, I left. I was with someone else who needed to get home and I had ridden with her.(Yes, I bought the one advertised with a gold rim.)It’s frustrating that different employees ask for different things when a refund is due.To make things more frustrating, my friend needs a cart to ride in and this store only has one which works. That is ridiculous for a store like Tom Thumb. At the prices they charge, they surely can afford more carts. The 2nd one is always broken.I recommend going to TT in Desoto. A much better operated store, better service, cleaner and better stocked products.Duncanville store needs better management. Very frustrated with Customer Service.
