After moving to Dallas, I struggled to find a trustworthy mechanic, whether at a small shop or a dealership. I often encountered issues such as incomplete work, mistakes, or even had to request my old parts back to ensure I was receiving the services I paid for.
However, I accidentally discovered Carlin's when I lived in Duncanville for a year, and it has been an amazing experience. This place is incredible – they don't try to upsell you. Instead, they explain what repairs are needed, what can wait, and what can't. Their pricing is fair and honest, and all the technicians are polite, professional, friendly, and exceptionally knowledgeable. They do fantastic work!
I assure you, you won't regret going to Carlin's. It’s almost a one-stop shop, and I believe they plan to expand their services to include front-end alignments, which would cover almost everything you need. If there’s something they can't do, they’ll let you know and refer you to someone reliable.
I truly hope this place lasts for another 25 years, as that’s about how long I have left on this Earth. I would love to know that I can rely on Carlin's for every car I own in the future, without worrying about whether the vehicle will be safe and roadworthy. It wouldn't let me post this without a photo so I'm posting a picture of the car they worked on which was a 2018 Chevrolet Sonic LT which by the way they no longer make on the parts are from Mexico and Canada which can be expensive and hard to find but I never have any issues when I take it to Carlin's.”
“Great place, got a plug put in for my tire which had a nail in it. Took about 5 minutes and cost 5 dollars, same thing my dealership would’ve charged me 60 dollars for. Fast, friendly, and reliable service.”
“So my son had a blowout along I 20 in Duncanville. I was working from home, so while he changed his tire on to the donut spare, I searched out a quick fix for him. Fortunately he and the car were fine. The Duncanville Tire Center is quick, cheap, responsive, and really helped my son quickly to get back on the road. They fixed the blowout tire, and sold us another tire on the front, because it really needed it. My son was in an out in 20 minutes for less than $90 for two tires (granted they were used). I'd go back, just to say thanks.”

“I visited this store this week looking for a specific item I had purchased here before. Couldn't find it. It had been moved. Found an employee who told me where she thought the product was and basically pointed in the general direction. She was wrong (and lazy.) Then I found Yolanda who was folding clothes in the apparel department. Miss Yolanda stopped what she was doing, led me on a search and found the product for me! Thank you, Yolanda! You did your company proud. I'm hoping Costco management reads this and realizes your value as a five star employee.”
