I've had the pleasure of working with Krissy Kwik Tax for a few years now. She has served a large portion of my family with EXCELLENCE! She's knowledgeable, patient and her attention to detail is unmatched. She's seasoned in the industry, and I originally started with her over 8yrs ago. A-1 service. Top notch and absolutely 5 stars! Did I say how promptly responds? She handled 3 returns for my family during the weekend and after hours. She and her team are outstanding. Don't walk but RUN to Krissy Kwik Tax! Bring your friends and family, they will sign your praises for referring a reliable tax preparer!

I left out ONE W2 by accident WHICH I ACKNOWLEDGED, however, this amazing trusting tax “professional” *sarcasm* STILL left out 4 documents that I provided on 3/29/2024. NO ONE had a problem paying for your services, that’s obvious in the fact that I paid SAME DAY. The proof is in the pudding, y’all.*
I will start this by saying, read the other low reviews and take account how the owner responds, that in itself will give you the information you’re looking for.
I usually do our taxes every year. This is the first year it came out that we would owe. I sought out a professional (Krissy) to see if she could help find deductions I was unaware of. I sent her all but ONE W2, which I did not realize until later, that was my mistake. However, one file contained multiple scans that was included in my initial documentation, and she did not include those numbers (I have screenshots, since she likes to threaten those).
I was told BY KRISSY that she gave free estimates, and the estimate I was provided was a tax refund of $3890 and $750 to file with her, if I didn’t pay up front it was an extra $445 and some change for “bank fees.” I was ok with $750, because it was less than initially owed to the IRS, and we were getting a refund. So, I paid her $750 fee. When she sent the authorization to e-file, I noticed the total income was very low. I asked about it, to which she acknowledged she missed several forms, and I then sent her the missing W2. She adjusted the return, and then came back and said we owe $2,333. This is the same amount TurboTax said I owed. Who in their right mind would pay someone $750 to still OWE the IRS the same amount when I could have filed for FREE through TurboTax and only paid what we owe directly to the IRS?
When I brought this to her attention, her response was as pictured below. To BLAME the PAYING customer for HER (or her staff) missing multiple documents in a provided file she had from the get go. She then said there was nothing she could do as far as her astronomical tax prep fee and couldn’t have her staff working for free. This was extremely unprofessional. There was nothing hard or labor intensive about my taxes and that was evident by Krissy providing the initial estimate in less than an hour. I’m broke, I’ll be the first to admit it, and I don’t have an extra $750 that Krissy pulled the ole bait and switch on me for, when I owe thousands in taxes. Truly shady business and now I’m fighting for my money back when she could have acknowledged her mistake as quick as she was to point out mine and made it all go away. Stop telling customers you give free estimates, giving a totally inaccurate estimate, and then keeping their money when they are not happy with the REAL estimate you said you would do for free. It’s a shame business is conducted this way.

This was our first time using Krissy and it was the best experience. She is so fast and attentive and truly a blessing to our family. Her staff is amazing and it feels like home. We will be using Krissy every year now!

Krissy is great! I usually do my taxes through TurboTax but a friend of mine spoke very highly of her and he was correct! She was the first accountant I’ve done my taxes through and she was very helpful and I’m very satisfied with doing business with her!

I have to give a big shout out to Krissy's Kwik Tax since I have been in Texas I have owed every single year ? but I got hooked up with a nice return this year after using this service. If you have not filed your taxes I haven't seen anyone better definitely reach out.
