Don’t waste your time and money with these people. Have worked on my car 3 times and the same issues keep coming up. They also take forever and do not give you information when you call and ask for an update.

Very unprofessional and will lie in a minute. So far, the work done is good. I'm praying it stays that way. I never want to deal with them again. And will never recommend them to anyone except to run far and fast away from them.

This place is a complete scam. Highly over priced and did not want to help at all this is not where you want to get your transmission fixed because I believe they won’t do what exactly is needed

Fraud Fraud Fraud! Do not use this company they are fraud. I took my son car there which was quoted a price to rebuild transmission for 2200.00. Once transmission was taken off they increased price to rebuild to 3700.00. I told them to leave my vehicle alone a new transmission at auto-zone for 2k they charged me 889.00 to get my car back. Vehicle was driven into location and was towed back to my home without a transmission in it because they will be rebuilding it. I asked for them to put it back like it was which they refuse to do so! It explains why so many cars on this lot because the are getting over on people! BBB will be informed! This Cookson transmission in Duncanville should be shut down!

They replaced transmission and as soon as I got the vehicle back first day, I've had nothing but issues with the transmission and other related issues they touched. They will not fulfill their warranty and this place is a complete scam. Stay away as we will report the BBB.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS DESTROYING THE ORIGINAL FAMILY NAME. JUST LOOK AT THE NUMBER OF STORED VEHICLES. I WAS QUOTED $825.00 for a Murano AWD R&R ( remove and reinstall) . I asked for teardown and inspection of low oil pressure problem. They never opened up the transmission but told me it would cost $6200 ,$4000 in parts. It forced me to plan B to dropship a good low mileage unit from LAJDM. In short they wanted $2400 for a swap out, not a rebuild nor any warrantyb/c i bought the transmission. I caught them in another lie and was able to reduce the bill to $2000.00. After 4 requests to save all parts ,they loaded my car with the unopened transmission upon paying my bill in cash. Now I haveseveral issues: a) radio and info center inop b) a/c inop and no fan control. c) door locks inop d) left new headlght low beam inop. e) engine cover missing. f) air filter box not anchored in frame hole. I have only driven it home. They charged me $295 for reflashing ecm to bcm. I will be calling them and taking them to court. I am sorry to learn after the fact that this compamy bought out a long standing business with the Cookson family name.Service: Transmission

BEWARE! CROOKED BUSINESS. If they can get you they WILL! They charged me $470 for something they didn’t fix. Nor did they dismantle anything, just took the cover off my fuse box and claimed they did a “engine flash” that was unsuccessful. When i asked for documentation on what they attempted to do, meaning show me where it says that what you tried failed, they only were able to produce a receipt. There was a recall, they knew they wouldn’t be able to fix it. CHECK YOUR RECALLS. They will pressure you and persuade you to let them start work on your vehicle. I wish I would have known or asked someone before, but when people say “it’s gonna go out if you don’t get it fixed” it’s a red flag. If you say no to service and they try to convince you otherwise STAND ON THAT NO!

Poor customer service, lack of communication. For this to be the shops specialty in my case not good at transmission repair. Over $4600 and over a month of servicing my vehicle still not right... people in charge of front end service don't communicate with each other and they each had different answers evertime. Frustrating waste of time and money. I'm sad thinking about the I may have to possibly go back to get issues checked out again about the initial service.

First of all the customer service is very poor, when we first call it only took 3 to 5 days to do the job and then we had to pay half after a week we had to call every other day to see if the car was done and it end up taking two and a half weeks to have our car finished. And once it was finished the screws wasn't tight, the clamp wasn't on tight, this was such a poor job and come to find out the people that own this company has been brought out and they're using their name. Again do not go there.

Took it in for a transmission cooling line leak. Tommy said they only replaced the fittings not the line. They insisted to drop the pan and change the trans oil and check if the transmission was damaged. After dropping the pan Tommy said that they needed to rebuilt the transmission. I told Tommy I only took it to replace a cooling line leak and never had any problems with the transmission before that, it was working smoothly at all times, and that I would take it to another place and have it checked out for a second opinion. With the fittings change and changing the trans fluid and "2 filters" I ended up paying close to $500. $200 for the transmission fluid alone smh. Highway robbery. BAD customer service starting with Tommy (the phone rep guy) said he would call me and never did. I took it on a Saturday morning and they never told me they were going to close early. So I was left uninformed and with out a car until Tuesday. Had to borrow my dad's car for work for Monday and Tuesday. Had to chase them down for answers. Will not go back and will NOT recommend it for anyone. Don't let them work on your car until you authorize any and all repairs.
