Despite the large job and the immediate nature of my need I was met with great customer service both in hospitality and professionalism. My truck has never run this well. “Highly recommend! This place saved my roadtrip! Best mechanic around, and the owner is a very respectful stand up guy who knows what he's talking about and shoots straight. My honda CRV ended up with a broken stud on the front passanger wheel during a routine tire change at a different well known auto shop. The auto shop that accidentally broke it did not have the tools required to replace the stud. This happened on a friday at around 3 p.m. and they directed me to A & G Auto saying this was the best guy in town and they weren't lying. I explained my situation and although they couldn't fit me in for that day (which I expected it being so late in the day) the owner told me to come back on monday and even though they had quite a few vehicles ahead of me assured me they'd have me back on the road tuesday morning at the very latest (which was much faster than any of the other places I checked with, about 5 different places). Sure enough tuesday morning rolled around and I got the call that my car was all set. These men are some of the most hardworking, honest and no nonsense mechanics I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. It was no coincidence that I ended up at this exact auto shop, it was providence! If I lived anywhere near Dumas TX, this would be my mechanic for life, no question. “I stopped here after another wal mart botched my oil change. I have never had better treatment at an auto center! The two men helping me were very thoughtful and walked through what they could do to fix up my car enough that I could keep driving. When they didn't have the right size screws, they reimbursed me for the ones I went to purchase at O'Reilly's. They stayed after close to make sure my car was set enough that I could continue driving and charged me nothing. Anthony and the others I talked to were wonderful!”
