I was having some trouble with getting in and out of my van and I noticed it was causing some hip pain. I thought adding a step would help and it has made a world of difference. I’m so glad I stopped by and asked if it was possible. I thought it would be too small of a job for them but they made it happen and I wish I had stopped in long ago. Now I’m feeling great and riding my bike doesn’t hurt anymore. Thanks Thor team I did 20 miles on my bike this past weekend and lm not tripping on having to have a hip replacement anymore.

They put a new BAKFlip MX4 Tonneau cover on my Silverado. They were awesome in setting up the appointment, put the top on in about 1 1/2 hour and called me for pickup. Great place and great work.

I brought my 2013 Ram 2500 to Thor to do a full swap of the suspension for the 2.5 Carli pintop kit. After picking up my truck and driving back to Dallas I noticed something was off. My truck was leaning about 4 inches downward on the front left side compared to the right.
I’ll admit, I thought I had been screwed over by just another mechanic who wouldn’t stand behind their work. After talking to the owner Jamey Whitlock via phone and texts, we agreed upon a solution. I made the drive back to Austin from DFW to have this issue resolved. After about 30 min of Jamey and the Thor team looking at the truck, they came to find that the coil spring was bad and that’s what was causing the issue. They took both out and stood them side by side and one was depressed about 4-5 inches compared to the others. This was a huge relief to me as I thought it was something the techs had done to cause all of this trouble. I arrived at the shop at 9am and left at 1pm with a new coil kit and a fresh alignment. These guys stand behind their work and didn’t hassle me in the slightest to make me think it was my fault. I will highly recommend them to anyone and will continue taking my truck to them whenever I decided to to upgrade even further on future projects. Thank you Jamey and the Thor team.

I called during my lunch break just asking for some advice on the issue my truck was experiencing and Mike told me to just swing by so he could take a look at it and help me out. When I got there I was told that I needed an alignment and that should take care of it. I ended up needing an alignment and some additional unforeseen work done on top of that and THOR was nothing but helpful. Very professional shop and customer service and I highly recommend them

THOR recently assembled some Bilstein struts for me. They were very communicative over e-mail and answered questions by phone quickly. They quoted me a price for the work, I dropped off the parts in the afternoon and they had everything assembled by the next day. I paid exactly what they quoted me. Very happy with my experience with them.

Jamie and his team are as solid as they come!! They knocked my F150 build out of the park and provided excellent communication the whole way to help me make the best decision for my build while also helping me to consider price conscious alternatives. They will have my business well into the future on all my other trucks.

I knew I wanted a Carli suspension system when I bought my truck and was pleasantly surprised to find out I lived down the road from Texas' only Carli stocking dealer in THOR Off Road. It was immediately evident from the moment I walked in the shop that they were as excited to help design my upgrades as I was and that made the process so enjoyable. I worked with Mike Villarreal on what components I wanted (Carli King Pintop 3.5" kit, Radius Arms, Full Rear Spring Replacement, Dual Steering Stabilizers, Torsion Sway Bar, and New Wheels and Tires) and he guided me through what each of the parts did, and how they were upgrades over stock.I work on pipelines out in the country so I had all these components upgraded because my truck actually gets off the pavement and uses 4 wheel drive almost every day and they are so worth it. I highly recommend THOR Off Road to totally transform your truck from vision to reality.

I brought my wife's 2022 Honda Pilot to THOR for a brushguard installation. Mike and his team are very professional and had me scheduled quickly. The work was done in a timely manner and was done with expertise in workmanship. I highly recommend THOR for all accessory things you need for your vehicle.

Excellent shop, great people and competitive prices. Jamey, Slater, and crew are true off road enthusiasts, hunters and sportsmen. They drive some of the same trucks that I use, and that makes them familiar with the product first hand. Highly recommend these guys!!

Workmanship is poor. Multiple trips back to their shop to fix items. Damaged a tire during install and caused a bubble. They stated I did the damage somehow. Luckily I had a photo of the tire as soon as they pulled it out of the shop for the first time before I took possession where you could see damage. They quickly fixed it for free (a positive I guess).Then I went back in for my 500 mile torque check of the new leaf springs, see photos below. They finger tightened the bolts for my shocks back on. The next morning I was loading up my travel trailer and noticed the shock hanging down. I drove back to Thor and they fixed it. Stating the technician got a “talkin to.” Then offered me a shirt or hat, like I want to rep their brand as a happy customer. Buyer beware. Bolt-on (or slap together) Shop that doesn’t check their work and sends you down the road. What if it was my front suspension and I had my children in the vehicle? Yes, I’m sure they will respond to this saying they “made it right”…. save your breath. Little to no quality control.“Wow, I can’t believe you did this to my truck!”
