We had The Shelf King install back in 6/2020 and our pullouts are still in great shape. That speaks to their quality and expert install. This is a follow-up post as we had a severe undersink water leak in a cabinet with one of the pullouts. It had been leaking over months, then a major leak before we knew of it. Due to the wood material, construction and sealant used it has held up incredibly well! The drawer not only held the water, but due to the sealant on the shelf managed to protect the wood and it has yet to spill the liquid, warp or get damaged in anyway. We are so impressed, major compliments to you and your workmanship. Again, so happy with your workmanship and quality standards.

I had a tall cabinet with shelves and it was difficult to organize and find things. The pull out shelves Shelf King installed look great, work smoothly and have made life easier for me. Shelf King showed up on time for the estimate and the installation. Their workmanship is superb.

The Shelf King provides the best pull out kitchen shelving I’ve ever seen. We had new cabinet doors and drawers installed and we needed to upgrade our pull out shelves in the lower cabinets. Chez and Whitney are consummate professionals. Every step of the process was enjoyable which is very rare to say about a home improvement project.
Chez made some great suggestions about our configuration and was able to give us larger pullout in some of our double cabinets.

We would not hesitate to recommend The Shelf King to anyone wishing to upgrade the kitchen with glide out shelves. This is a local family business which is very efficiently run and well organized. When the installation ran into a problem due to an unpredictable and unusual work around by the original home builder, Chez gave us several options and explained pros and cons of each. Whitney kept us informed, even answering questions from the car as they were taking a weekend trip with the kids. Glide out shelves work perfectly and we no longer struggle to reach items in the back. One word of caution - be aware of how many tall items will need storage when planning the shelf layout. Chez is very helpful in this regard.

Contacted The Shelf King ahead of finalizing home purchase to find out what services they provide. Got immediate response and told them I would reach out as soon as home closing took place. I contacted them and set up home visit within a week of closing. Prompt and professional from the beginning. Decided on pull out shelves in kitchen cabinets and additional shelves in bedroom closets. Just had them installed and I am so happy with the product and professionalism. Considering additional shelving and will definitely use The Shelf King! Thank you

Accessing everything in my small kitchen can be a challenge, so searched online for slide-out shelving. I was surprised to find that we had a local company who builds and installs these units, perfectly customized to your kitchen. Their service is impeccable; everything from the measurement/estimate session to the installation was perfectly on time. The product is top-notch, high-quality wood. I forgot to point out a gas line in the back of one cabinet, and the owner customized the slide-out to fit on the spot. The installation was surprisingly quick, and I can already tell that reaching pots and pans will require much less Jenga than before! So glad we called The Shelf King.

My order for 2 custom shelves with bottom brackets arrived with the bracket extending far above the side rails. I inquired with The Shelf King if the correct brackets were installed and was told that they only use a dual purpose bottom/side bracket. During installation 2 days later, one of the side rails came apart. I installed anyways, but the shelf does not slide freely. I contacted The Shelf King to request a replacement rail and this is the reply (verbatim) I received:
“When you initially emailed us about your order being received with the images of it being installed no mention of the rails arriving damaged was brought up. You simply mentioned the bracket. In those images the rails look in tact with brackets attached (note, photo I included was of single bracket on a good rail).
Now in the video the bracket is not attached.
We are happy to send out a set of rails. A replacement set is $35 + shipping $5.99”
The only conclusion you can make from this correspondence is that The Shelf King would prefer to accuse me of being a liar, rather than replace an obviously defective part that probably costs them less than $20 to purchase in bulk. What a horrible way to do business and treat a repeat customer. Exercise caution.

Having Shelf King build and install our slide outs was a great experience. Chez is very professional, provides high quality drawers and at an affordable price. Working with he and Whitney could not have been better! We are so happy with all the slide outs.
