Beautiful store! The owner was super helpful and helped me find exactly the type of tools I needed for my next project. There is a large selection of tools, organization options, and yarn. Next time I need a bag or storage for my tools I'm def coming here!

OK let's be honest here, I'm the tag along with a knitting queen. And she has taken me to many yarn stores and here is where my review begins: This is the nicest and cleanest and calmest of any store I have visited. The staff was more than willing to answer her advanced questions and my clueless questions. I would shop here just because I left feeling like I was a welcomed guest in their space. Thank you :)

Such a friendly, welcoming place! I found a gorgeous yak/silk blend yarn from Shangdrok, which was a new yarn dyer to me, and also got a cute little notions bag. Everyone who worked there was so energetic and friendly, especially Patty who sat with me and chatted patterns before we left. While I shopped, my husband got a local beer from them and read a book on their comfy couch by the front window. After I checked out I joined him with a glass of wine and worked on my current WIP. It was a nice final afternoon of vacation, and I'll be visiting this shop next time we're in town for sure.

What a great yarn shop! (They also serve wine!) They have such a fantastic and unique selection of yarns and NOTIONS! lemme tell you- so many indie small business notions I've only HEARD about online can be found here! Their yarn selection is just as dreamy! Loved my visit!

What a find in Dripping Springs! The staff are so helpful and they have a large selection of good quality yarns and other knitting supplies. Additionally, they offer knitting support and groups so be sure to stop by and get inspired!

I couldn't recommend The Sated Sheep more. They have a lovely collection of fibers, and when the yarn I ordered came and wasn’t quite right for the project I was working on, Allison was truly amazing to work with and helped me exchange for a different color. Honestly, I live in Manhattan, and it was easier receiving and exchanging yarn from Texas than running around my own city. The shipping was quick and I’m obsessed with the skeins I received. Thank you so much for all the help. I highly recommend ♥️♥️

I know all knitting/yarn stores are wonderful places to visit, bit The Sated Sheep is special. It just feels so inviting. The yarn selection is beautiful and the owner is so gracious. She is more of a host! Thank you for a great experience. We'll be back.

I'm vacationing in the hill country and The Sated Sheep was one of my first stops. I was not disappointed. I am new to knitting, and she very patiently answered all my questions, even helped me choose yarn for my project. They have so many beautiful and unusual yarns. Even her lunch recommendation was incredible. I will definitely add this to all my vacations.
