We want to give a huge thank you to Dr. Barnes and the entire staff. Dr. Barnes was fantastic in helping with pain management on our elderly Doberman. When it was time for her to cross rainbow bridge, Dr. Barnes was caring and very attentive to our feelings of losing a family member. The staff were extremely helpful and caring during this time.

Have been using Sunset Canyon for the past 11 years for my horses and dogs. I have nothing but great things to say about every vet we have seen there; Dr. Taylor, Dr. Pruitt, and Dr. West in particular. The staff is also very helpful and always provides great customer service.

From the moment we walked in the door to check in and to the entry to the exam room, each person was so welcoming and kind. Love Dr West; she takes the time to listen and visit with us to talk about the matters at hand with our fur baby. They are so professional!

Sunset Canyon have the best vets around.
Dr Isabella Santos was superb. She offered a comprehensive diagnostic plan in order to find out what is causing my cat's problems with diarrhea, vomiting and losing weight.
I am very pleased and hopeful.

Amazing service! 10/10 I had my dog’s dental cleaning here and they did great work. My dog and I were cared for and I would recommend this vet to any pet owner!

Our family has been going to Sunset Canyon for over 25 years. They are the most incredible vet clinic and have the most incredible medical team. You can’t go wrong with any vet there. Staff are all incredible as well. They are compassionate, informative and willing to go above and beyond to take care of your sweet fur babies. Dr. West is amazing and saved my basset hounds life from hemangiosarcoma which is a blood cancer. As bad as Bella had it she was only expected to be around for months afterwards, and Bella lived another five years.From greater Swiss Mountain dogs to basset hounds and the cats, We’ve been through all types of injuries, surgeries, porcupines, skunks, pigs, and everything else with our dogs over the years. I will forever be grateful for all the amazing treatment they have given to all of our animals. I will never take my animals anywhere else. I highly highly recommend them!!! Dr. Garcia is a very good vet. He is kind, very easy to talk with about your pets issues, he listens and his diagnosis and treatment has always been very effective. I would highly recommend him.

2024 still happy with this clinic.
2016 I really like this vet clinic and its highly professional staff. Dr. Garcia went above and beyond to make sure that my super large puppy Phoebe took her surgery well and went through her recovery as quickly as possible. Dr. Garcia was able to take in account and address all complications related to Phoebe's long list of allergies and made sure that Phoebe went home with no problems. Thank you, Dr. Garcia and Sunset Canyon Veterinary Clinic Administration!

We’ve used the vets at Sunset Canyon since we moved to Belterra in 2007. We’ve had 7 cats through all those years.
The staff, vet techs, assistants and vets have been great to us and our pets. I’m never disappointed with how they treat my pets. I highly recommend them..

As always, Dr. Portia was great with our dog Jessie Lynn at her annual checkup. And, importantly, he said not to have her fetch a frisbee because it’s bad on her joints and would lead to bone spurs, as she jumps up to catch it. Great advice; no more frisbee.

I can't express the gratitude I have for Dr Sontos and everybody at Sunset Canyon for the compassion and patience they showed to me and my baby Nova from the beginning of her cancer diagnosis to her last day a month ago. Dr Sontos always called me back and answered all my questions never sounding frustrated even tho there were many. She was even there for her last moments making sure she was comfortable, which I am forever grateful. When it was time for me to pick up her ashes I was running a little late but the staff waited for me.
