Hey, I'm Christian. There is a lot of crying over things people have no control of. People are crying there was no Hogs, if there is no hogs, that's a good thing! The point of hog hunting, is to get rid of hogs. You pay to be on a Million dollar property and not to be bothered. I've come to this property and have been treated with nothing but kindness. They offer you a small fee compared to other ranchers and you are allowed 24 hours for the small fee, sorry, but you won't find that anywhere else. I'm honored to come and hunt, even if I leave with nothing.. The ONLY things they ask of you, is to leave the Bobcats alone and respect the property... For 200 that isn't much. Most Ranchers want 3-600 and that's for only a few hours. This family is chill as hell, people complain about the owner being drunk, dude, SHUT UP! It's is own property, I'd be drunk everyday too if I could. Thank you Storm Ranch for allowing people on your property and being kind with your hours and thank you very much for giving your hunters space. It takes a lot to trust people. This place gives peace! I've shot a Coyote while here and had a CRAZY encounter with Bobcats. It was sooo cool!

If your a real hunter or have military skills this is the place to be. Rough terrain, trees, creeks, mmm the great outdoors!!! Josh is also the coolest dude. He knew what we wanted and knew we had the skill so he wasn't watching over our shoulders and telling us what do what to shoot. He explained everything and just to respect the terrain. If I could rough out there for a week it's would be heaven!!! I'll definitely be back a lot.

Great place. What we did not know. When to hunt and what type of scope to use. The hunt starts after dark. We are from Michigan and tried to hunt pigs, like we would deer hunting. WRONG!! Our fault but it would have been helpful for the manager to give us tips on the best way to hunt hogs. Still, we had a good time.

We booked our hunting trip the morning of our trip. They were very enthusiastic and welcomed us in from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. Josh was very helpful and friendly. We saw multiple hogs, if it weren't for the excitement and nervousness of our first hunting trip we would have walked away with a kill. Overall we had a blast and will be going back again in the near future!!!

I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a hog hunting trip with a remarkable outfitter Storm Ranch, and although I didn't manage to secure a kill, the experience was absolutely phenomenal! The abundance of wildlife and the genuinely friendly staff made it a trip to remember. From the moment I arrived at the hunting grounds, Josh exuded warmth and hospitality. He greeted us with open arms, taking the time to explain the hunting procedures and ensure that I felt comfortable throughout the journey. His knowledge and passion for wildlife were truly infectious, creating an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation. While my main goal was hog hunting, I quickly realized that the trip had much more to offer. The picturesque surroundings were teeming with a diverse range of wildlife. The dense forests and sprawling meadows provided a habitat for numerous species, and it felt as if I was stepping into a nature documentary. Majestic deer gracefully leaped through the underbrush, rabbits scurried across the trails, and the melodies of birds filled the air. Witnessing this thriving ecosystem in action was a privilege in itself.Although I did not achieve a successful hog hunt, I cannot fault the outfitter for the lack of results. Hunting, after all, relies on numerous factors, and sometimes it's the wildlife's way of keeping us humble. What truly stood out was the professionalism and dedication of the staff. He eagerly shared his expertise, providing tips and guidance to increase my chances of success. His genuine interest in ensuring an unforgettable experience, regardless of the outcome, was truly remarkable.Throughout the trip, Josh’s commitment to both the safety of the participants and the well-being of the animals was evident. They adhered to strict ethical hunting practices, prioritizing the respect and conservation of nature. This responsible approach further emphasized His genuine passion for preserving the natural beauty of the land.In the end, hunting is about more than the kill. It's about connecting with nature, appreciating its splendor, and fostering a deep respect for the world around us. This hog hunting trip may not have resulted in a trophy, but it left an indelible mark on my soul. Josh’s friendliness, professionalism, and the abundance of wildlife I encountered made it an adventure I will cherish forever. If you're seeking an unforgettable wildlife experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Storm Ranch. Their dedication to customer satisfaction and their commitment to wildlife conservation make them a standout choice. Prepare to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, and be prepared to come away with memories that will last a lifetime.

I had a bad experience at Storm Ranch after booking two days of pig hunting. Josh spent 5 minutes putting me in a field the first morning when we arrived and never contacted me again for the rest of the weekend. There was no enthusiasm around providing a good experience. There was also no mention of any of the other activities listed on the website.

Truly the worst hunting experience of my life. I speak on behalf of my entire group. The bunk house was decent but beside that..no thanks. Our group saw the same number of pigs as people do Bigfoot in their life. Not fond of the drinking by the staff, unprofessional and unsafe. More of a party cabin than hunting. Don’t expect to see much. Very poor customer service, hard to find anyone ever

Spent 1400$ for 7 people for a shooting experience. Was given less than $100 worth of ammo to shoot. He only gave us four 20 round boxes of .223, half a box of .22 and some shotgun rounds. I had to use my personal cars battery to run clay shooter in the site. Overall pretty weak experience for the money spent.

Three friends and I went to Storm Ranch this past weekend for a day hunt and were utterly blown away. The landscape was captivating & wildlife abundant, not to mention the man-made features to enjoy. Hitting the shooting range with my buddies was an absolute blast. Free tannerite and skeet shoot were included in our day hunt which we really enjoyed. There is also a party barn with a sleeping quarters attached which seemed like the perfect place to throw a party. But what really made the whole experience was Josh Storm. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. I can tell he is a very selfless man with a big heart, and if you show him respect you will receive nothing but respect back. He really just wants to share the beauty and magic of this property with his guests. Will definitely be returning soon for a spring turkey hunt or a birthday party!

I was finally able to get my first Rio turkey! Josh really went out of his way to make sure that I got a turkey. After a couple hours in the first spot with no success, he put me in another spot that had been showing good signs of birds. He wasn’t wrong, I had a couple gobbling around me and hens were all around but just out of sight. After a couple of hours on my second sit, I was able to sneak up on 2 x toms and get a shot. What a great experience and I can’t thank Storm Ranch enough for this opportunity.

I tried calling the general manager to book my hunting trip. Upon hearing my inquiry he said “no” and hanged me up.

Great experience. Recommend staying in the party barn. Did not see a hog in the 2 days that we stayed but did see a good bit of sign that they were in the area. That being said, if you have a bad time here, that's on you. Josh provides you with everything you need (and more), but also lets you do as you please for the most part. Party barn has music, bar, stove, microwave, fridge, satellite tv, wifi, shower, pool table, darts, beds, couches, sink, stove, etc. We forgot a few necessities and Josh wasted no time finding the items to help us out. I will say this, you should really invest in either a thermal scope or thermal monocular if you're going to hunt here (or hog hunt anywhere really). It will take your time from a 4 to a 10 as far as enjoyability of the hunt. Again, you're gonna have a good time, hogs or no hogs.
