Very peaceful & the scenic views from the deck area of the Airsteam Travel trailer Stella were beautiful. The interior was comfortable and clean. We were unable to use the outdoor grill due to the rain from Tropical storm Beta. We anticipated bad weather and had alternate meal plans to celebrate my birthday.

Kathy and Wayne have created a perfect getaway at the Star House B&B. We stayed in Stella, the vintage Airstream and had a great time enjoying the trailer, the views, and feeding the goats. A great location if you want to be near Austin but not in it. We hope to be able to visit again. Thanks for everything! -Erin and

Peaceful surroundings and stunning views makes this an ideal place to stay when visiting Drippings Springs, Texas. The Star House was cozy and comfortable and the night sky was beautiful. Kathy and Wayne were great hosts and the metal art was a wonderful addition to the stunning views of the hilly country land during the day. I would recommend this B&B when visiting Texas.

My family and I stayed at both Star House and Stella Airstream for an extended weekend visit to the Austin area and we were all very pleased with the accommodations. Both guest houses were ready for us even though we arrived at different times. The hosts were always available if we needed them. The view on this property is spectacular. We all enjoyed getting up and watching the sunrise with our coffee and taking photos. It was a lovely visit and we will be back again.

Stayed here for a nice get away. The star house was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the Dripping Springs and Johnson City area. Kathy was the best host we have ever had - from ensuring the Star house had everything we needed to providing recommendations of where to visit and where to eat. She checked on us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was set with all the amenities we needed from breakfast in the fridge for the first morning, coffee, and a few snacks including some chocolate for us and dog treats for our fur kid. The property was nice and it has some really nice views. We enjoyed getting up in the morning to relax with a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise. We also got to meet her husband Wayne who chatted with us about their garden and also showed us his shop where he does his wonderful metal work which is displayed throughout the property and even in the home. We definitely will be staying here again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!My best friend and I stayed at the Star House for our birthday weekend. Let me tell you,this home and the 38 acres is just breathtaking!The charm of art and sculptures all throughout inside and outside the home made this place magical. The home is spotless clean and fully stocked. Comfortable beds in bedrooms and cozy living room. the stars at night took my breath away .Kathy and Wayne are 5 star hosts! They are both incredibly kind, welcoming and quick to any questions. The home had everything you need and more. They are just absolutely wonderful people. I cannot be happier; a birthday weekend in the hill country, while staying at the Star House. Perfect.

Kathy was so incredibly inviting. Even though we didn't explore due to COVID, she suggested some dang good places to eat that we took back to the Airstream (her name is Stella, by the way). The views were wonderful and we enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds feed every morning. We can't wait to come back.

This property is stunning. The grounds are well kept, so serene and peaceful yet you’re just a short drive to town and Austin. The interior is well decorated and thoughtful. There’s plenty of space. The hosts are fantastic. There’s no better place.

We LOVED our stay at Star House. Me and my husband were looking for a peaceful getaway from the busy city and Star House did not disappoint. We brought our 10 month old and used the downstairs bedroom for her and we slept up in the loft so that we could use the living areas a little later. Worked perfectly for us! The property is beautiful and away from all of the hustle and bustle. It was fun to explore the property or sit and enjoy the scenery. We made a nice fire at night and sat under the stars. It’s also close to several state parks (though they were all full due to Spring Break - I recommend booking ahead!) but we still found plenty to do. Austin isn’t too far away either so we spent some time on the trails there. Overall I highly recommend Star House for a relaxing, recharging getaway. Kathy gave us lots of suggestions and was very prompt and kind if we had any questions. Thank you Kathy for being such a wonderful host! Leaving was so hard - we will be back!! ❤️

Our stay at Star House is a memory that I will embrace for the rest of my life! One of my daughter's flew in from San Diego and my other daughter drove in from Houston and I drove up from Boerne and we all came together at the Rossi's Star House. The beautiful countryside, our gracious hosts, and the time we spent together was blessed! And while we felt we were in Heaven...we were actually just down the road from so many other nice places to see and visit. It's a Win Win...I highly recommend!!

Star House is an amazing weekend getaway! I got to experience the Star House itself as well as Stella the Airstream and both are exceptionally comfortable and cute! The beds are also incredibly comfortable and I slept wonderfully. It’s far enough out in the country to enjoy the peacefulness and solitude but close enough to Dripping Springs and Austin for convenience. The treats that Kathy leaves are the icing on the cake! ? Highly recommend!
