Pay less and get more? Who does that? Ramsey does. Their labor rate is lower than many other shops and they have excellent diagnostic and repair skills. These guys keep our work trucks on the road, which means everything because without them, we can't earn a living.Services: Transmission

When you find an honest, trustworthy and reasonably priced auto repair center, you want to keep it secret, but this place deserves the business. They treat your autos as if they are their own and won’t recommend unnecessary services. These guys are worth their weight in GOLD!!!!

Experienced professional mechanics worked on our work truck's A/C system. They found a leak and recharged the system after checking with us about the problem. Travis, Cass, and Robert are three of the most trustworthy mechanics I've ever known. #1 was my Dad.

I had a repair that I needed help with and Ramsey auto was not only able to complete the repair in 2 days instead of the 3 weeks another local shop quoted me, but also for a much lower quote. (literally a fraction of what the other local shop quoted me). They also did a great job describing to me what they found wrong with my vehicle and were completely fair with pricing and time taken. I highly recommend Ramsey Auto!

Travis always goes above and beyond when working on our vehicles! After taking my car to the dealership and then not fixing it correctly Travis took a look and got it all fixed the right way. He takes the time to make sure the vehicle is running properly before just saying it's fixed which seems to be a common problem with a lot of mechanics. He's worked on two of our bmw's, our Cadillac and many others. Thank you Travis for getting my car back on the road!!

My radiator fan bit the dust yesterday afternoon. Having both heard and read about Travis and his reputation for getting repairs done quickly and at a fair, no-nonsense price, I drove over to his shop. The situation was assessed and Travis quoted fair pricing for both the part and labor. He ordered the part while I waited and said it would be delivered the following morning. Ramsey Auto was highly recommended to me by multiple sources in Dripping Springs and I am glad to have found this professional outfit. They were thorough in questioning what was happening so they could quickly diagnose the problem and also in explaining all options and possibilities. Bad experiences happen with auto mechanics because so much is based on blind trust and so it's good to know I can trust what they tell me as well as the quality of work.

Had some issues with my vehicle brake system while vacationing in the dripping springs area and took it by Travis to get an assessment of problems. He was very straightforward and honest and gave me options of quick fix to get me by since I was on vacation or the right way to be done with it. He was willing to help us out and get us in since we were from out of town to help us out. While we choose to go ahead and head home to get repairs was very glad to see honest mechanics do exist these days. Highly recommend anyone that lives in the area to use his services
