This location does not answer the phone or return calls, no appointments available online, lines out the door. Total failure at this location, hopefully they get a competitor soon. No excuse if your elderly and disabled having to pay $100 weekly to find a lab you can get blood drawn for a fatal disease.

The two "receptionists" running the front office were also the ones doing blood draws. In too much of a hurry and wouldn't wait more than 30 seconds to do my draw despite telling them I'd need a band & ball to get a visible vein. She missed TWICE and hit something painful the second time. 5 days later and my arm still hurts. Will never go back here!

I have been to this location several times. The check in time is fast and easy and I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. My veins roll and are hard to stick, but they take their time and then I have a quick and painless stick. The staff is courteous, friendlyand patient. 5 stars!

I’ve gone to this location twice and both times the staff has not been personable or gentle. There was not a lot of people in the wait room, but the entire appt felt rushed. There was no effort to make me feel comfortable. My veins are hard to locate so I’m always jabbed multiple times before they can find a good vein to draw blood. It doesn’t help my nerves when the staff seems frustrated and barely speaks to you as if you aren’t a person with feelings. Not all patients are excited or willing to have their blood drawn, but by showing compassion and empathy, you can make this frightening process easier and more comfortable. Please consider what health issues a patient may be going through to need a sample in the first place.I also had to get a urine sample done and there were multiple samples in the drop off area needing to be picked up. This is unsanitary and leaves risk of samples being tampered with.

Staff was friendly and fast. Kristy drew my blood and it was painless — and excellent job. I forgot my orders at home and Kristy was a big help getting it sorted out with my doctor’s office. I was in just before their lunch so came back after. It was more crowded at 1:30 than at 11:30 so mornings might be a better time to go if you’re in a hurry.

A great professional team, with an awesome attitude.

Made appointment online, even though the waiting room was crowded, I was seen on time. Blood draw was painless.

I don't quite understand why there are so many really horrible and very positive reviews about this place. I went in for a 7 AM lab test just one vial and it went perfectly. I walked in didn't have an appointment, entered my name and sat down. I then got up gave my lab orders and ID and within five minutes was in and out one quick stick found the thing immediately and had no trouble at all and was done within 20 minutes. Very efficient very friendly and very positive experience overall.

AVOID. Seriously, make the drive to go ANYWHERE else.My phlebotomist was rushing and hit a nerve. She did not seem to care. This is the second time I've had a poor experience here and I will never return to this awful place for blood draw again. My hand is still experiencing numbness due to nerve injury an hour later. If I have to go to the doctor to check this injury out, I'll feel even worse. Never had I experienced issues anywhere else as far as CPL goes, but this location is HORRIBLE.

CPL: DAY 3. I’ve finally made contact with my family to let them know I’m still alive and in the waiting room. The others in the waiting room and I have banded together for survival until each of us is actually seen by the phlebotomist. We would have starved to death by now but for Mrs. Chase who always carries peanuts and Oreos in her purse for her grandkids. We have high hopes that we might get out of here before Christmas, but the Allies thought the same thing in August 1944 before the Germans launched the Battle of the Bulge, and we all know how that went. War is hell…and so is the wait time at CPL.

Today was a bad day. I arrived at 6:55am, waited outside til 7:20am. The lady that was supposed to open at 7am, was 20 minutes late. We all get inside and write our names down on paper because their check in isn't working properly. The Second Lady that is working there arrives a few minutes later. Only 2 people running the place, and both were 20 minutes late. My name is called and they tell me to take my papers and go to room 3. Both ladies are rushing around trying to get everyone checked in and drivers licenses, and insurance etc. I mean, it was disorganized and didn't leave me feeling like I was going to be taken care of properly. Like they're just rushing us in and out. I had to fast for this blood work today. I hadn't eaten in 15 hours. The first lady can't find my vein. She tried both arms and just can't find anything. So the other lady comes in and finds a vein finally. But she's only wearing one glove. And just a bare left hand. Is that normal procedure? Or just in a hurry? we have successfully started to draw blood, but the vein goes dry after only 3 vials. I have 6 to fill. She pulls the needle out and goes for a vein on my hand. This isn't a pleasant placement, I can tell you that it brought tears to my eyes. Meanwhile, we're getting more blood out and the vial is filling. Then one of the empty vials falls to the floor. So she can't use it and now I'm 1 vial short. I needed 6 filled. I only have 5. So I'm not sure if the blood work that needed 6 vials is going to be accurate or complete with only 5 vials of blood. And for $315.00 I hope this is enough for my doctor. I'm left with some bruising. But that's normally for me. If I have to get blood work done again, I'm going to have to go some place else. Today was one bad thing after another. Late employees, and because they are late, they're rushing around and not being very careful. And a vial falling on the floor and not getting all 6 vials filled. I mean. That's unprofessional. And it cost me a lot of money. I can't come back here.

Grace is terrific. I don't know how she can welcome you as a friend - like we've known each other for years. Thanks!

Hate to say I agree with the other low reviews. Making an appointment is pointless! Bring a book because you'll be waiting.

Dripping Springs CPL is the Best medical Lab I've ever encountered. It looks like a new office . it's a quiet environment with computer check in . the two women, who work there are amazing :they're fun .they're nice; and their efficient. I was so thankful she drew my blood with just one stick! I've actually been in Seton hospital where the nurse tried three times and finally I told her she couldn't touch me again & I threatened a restraining order (almost)... My husband and I will now have all of our blood work (Hope it won't be too many times) done at this laboratory. I'm sad because I can't remember the names of the two women, who work here... but you both are amazing. You know who you are!

This is a great lab. Cetceny is a great lab technician. The facility is really convenient for Lakeway
