Huge increase in prices. Nothing is mentioned by mouth. The only reason I found out was by a framed piece of paper that says prices have increased due to "inflation." Ask about the prices even though you've been coming for years. My price increased almost $200 for the same services I've been getting.

Wanted to get a hai and they were able to get me an appointment the same day. I had a very nice stylist Alyssa. she took her time and went over different hair products she used. I will definitely come back and see Alyssa.

I had used the same stylist for 8 years and moved from another state which left me with no one to care for my hair! After a horrid experience at a different salon left me with brittle, fried, uneven, choppy hair (6mos ago) I was terrified to go to another salon. But my hair was breaking and looked so sad. So I called Genesis Salon late afternoon and I was told that they had availability that same day. I went in at 8p for a simple cut, just to begin the process of fixing the damage done, and Madison came around the corner with the kindest smile! I sat in her chair, gave her the run down of tragedies that lead me to finally find someone new. She was completely not judgmental and yet validated my feelings. She was patient and after going over a few options and I told her to chop it off. She cut around a foot of hair from my head and I absolutely love it. The color immediately looked better. My hair feels so much healthier! A simple cut and style, left me feeling not just human again, but actually excited to wear my hair down! I've found my new person. Thank you Madison. I know it's "just hair", but you've made such a huge POSITIVE difference in my everyday life!

I'm new to the area and needed to find a salon for a much needed haircut. My hair doesn't require much, however, I wanted to find somewhere with reputable and quality professionals. I do believe I have found it here. As soon as you walk in the place is beautiful and very welcoming. Lots of workers who seem to take a lot of pride in the work they're doing and the cleanliness they keep. The hair wash/massage was so relaxing. I am very pleased with my haircut today and overall happy with my full experience. They offer a ton of different services so I'd definitely recommend them.

Just had a recent hair appointment with Allison. She really has been amazing since the first time I had an appointment with her in December. Back in December on the morning Company Christmas party I called to see if anyone could squeeze me in and luckily there was a cancellation for Allison so I was able to make an appointment with her. When I got there, She advised me how much time she had, and asked what services I needed I had Previously had highlights and my money. I asked her if she had time to just update my money pieces and she said she did and ended up going above and beyond in highlighting the mohawk section of my hair just to do a refresh. Within 3 to 4 hours I left the salon, feeling amazing and heading out to get ready for my Christmas party which I got so many compliments regarding my hair. Before leaving I scheduled a six week follow up so that brings us to February's appointment. I had a 6 o'clock appointment on Tuesday. After an emergency at work where I had to stay later, they gave me a call and advise me that she would still take me even though I was going to be a little late. As soon as I got there She was waiting for me at the front and got me Chair. I told her I just wanted to trim my hair because I knew I was late however, she said if I wanted to we could still do a highlight touchup. again, did an amazing job and gave me the brightness that I wanted along with an amazing haircut. I have had some really bad haircuts in my day so it's hard for me to trust just anyone with my hair, but since the beginning she has been great, and always asking me what I wanna do, as well as being confident in what she is doing. That puts my mind at ease when going to hairstylist I like what I like but I want them to look good for me as well. Before the end of the appointment we were already planning what my style would be. Thank you so much Allison making me feel confident and look amazing!!!

Excellent customer service! Shay was very knowledgeable when I asked about brow lamination and lash lifting. The staff is very friendly and professional from the front desk to the brow/lash tech. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Heather is fantastic, she always delivers exactly what we asked or better than expected. She is good about squeezing us in last minute too! She cuts my hair as well as my daughters & we always leave happy.

I'm a new client , was referred to this salon and Jesmin , my hair was down past my waist ,And i have been going back and forth about cuting it to my shoulders , When i told Jesmin ,what i wanted She triple checked to make sure. (That was awesome of her)I said I'm sure and I'm ready ! .She took her time and well I absolutely love my hair , it's so healthy looking now and refreshing especially in this hot summer .. Thank you Jesmin !!! And the staff was definitely super nice made us feel very welcomed Love this Salon and will definitely be back

I have been going to Chloe at Genesis for about 4 years and she always does an amazing job with my hair... I typically need a cut and color/highlights and Chloe never disappoints! I LOVE her haircuts and I love the color she selects... Chloe is friendly, easy to talk to and is always willing to do whatever style/color you ask for or you can rely on her experience and talent to choose the best color/cut for you.... Prices are the same as what every other salon in LC is charging these days and Chloe is 100% worth every penny!!

Tatiana did and AMAZING job! I highly recommend her! I impulse box dried my hair in November. I was told by other salons that My highlights would be orange. One session and they're perfect and my hair isn't damaged. I also love this salon, my babysitter fell through an hour before my appointment. When I called to reschedule, they said "bring her!". They went above and beyond to make sure my 4 year old was comfortable. My 4 year old was very well behaved the whole time (almost 4 hours), because they made sure she was comfortable. 5 out of 5 would recommend!! :)

Maribel is fabulous! I asked for sandy blonde heavy highlights and she achieved exactly what I wanted and more! She creates a comfortable and at home experience in the salon while also staying professional in her work. 10/10 would recommend!

I am a new client and had my hair done by Selena. She is so sweet and did a fantastic job cutting my pixie! I love that she listened as I told her what I wanted (and didn't laugh at my self-trimming job!). I love the way my hair turned out and will definitely be returning!
