Vanessa was great! She really took her time and listened to what we wanted in a vehicle that would meet our budget! She communicated with us prior to our visit to the dealership and had the vehicle ready for test drive when we arrived! The whole buying experience was great!

Their sales department is fantastic! Can not say enough good things about sales. However this dealership severely falls short when it comes to their service department. Danny will check your car in say he’ll get it done in a day and then no communication for three days. It’s un fortunate that you feel like you are bothering someone by having to ask for an update on your form of transportation that you depend on every day. Don’t say you are going to do something and not follow through or at least communicate that to your customers. I have also have been lied to stating it was fixed or being worked on when I can tell from my app that my vehicle hasn’t even been started or moved in 3 days. It’s really poor customer service in the service department that makes me regret buying a car from this dealership and it’s been this way for 3 years. Management hasn’t done anything to resolve the issues either, they blame it on “COVID” but that was 4 years ago…if you haven’t been able to adapt/improve your service models since it’s clearly a issue with the staff and management. It’s not hard to communicate, it can literally be a 5 minute phone call to make a difference in a customers experience.

Ron Carter CJDR is awesome. No addons. Best prices around. Not the usual haggle experience with other dealers. Our sales guy, Jose Martinez, is great. 5 vehicles in last 1.5 years. Would not go anywhere else.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Ron Carter. In less than a week, the vehicle was giving me issues. I spoke to the general manager, Mike Hall, and we were able to find a solution that was fair to both parties. He was genuinely concerned about the problem, and my satisfaction as a customer. Based on my experience, I would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from Ron Carter League City the next time I’m in the market for a new or used car.

After visiting another dealership that dropped in $4880 worth of dealer add-ons (that was worth no more than $1000), I went to Ron Carter in League City with its "no add-ons". The experience was drastically different. I felt welcome as a person rather than welcomed as a potential sale. I didn't feel pressure. I didn't feel like I was completely being played. My tread-in was valued at a much more reasonable level. I value service and I would have been happy to pay more (slightly) at Ron Carter than the other dealership ... but I didn't have too. I paid much less than the lowest quote offered previously. It was the first time I enjoyed the car buying process.

Shady dealership…! I went in to look at a 2024 JGC limited and was extremely disappointed (but not surprised) by their shady practices. I went in to look at their JGC that was advertised for $38498, but that was not t he case! I was ready to trade in my fully paid off 2023 CRV and was given a laughable trade in amount! Then, there was an added “protection plan” of almost 4k! When asked about this “plan” my sales guy sarcastically asked “c’mon, did you really expect to pay 38k for a fully loaded jeep”…? Yes man, I did intend to pay the advertised price! So if you want to deal with clownish business practices, then this is your dealership! I drove to Gillman Jeep after leaving and drove off in my new JGC. No wonder I was the only customer in their showroom. I do give them props for having the jeep out ready to test drive before I arrived.
Also, I’d be very careful about believing their 5 star reviews. lol

Took my 2013 Ram 1500 with 55000 miles on it in for repairs. After 4 days called and said could not get part and could not be repaired offered me $1000.00 toward new a truck. I had it towed to D&M auto in Texas City it was repaired in less then 24 hrs for less then $300.00.
