Amazing facility, kind and caring people. Followed up with multiple calls to make sure my dog was healing well. Took amazing care of our dog and she is back at 100% now! Thank you so much!!

My husband adopted Chloe from a shelter almost 18 years ago when he first went into the Navy. They literally grew up together, so, even when her health declined over the weekend and we knew it was her time to go, making that decision was confusing & difficult. Chloe was almost deaf & blind, so she had not been away from home in several years. The last thing I wanted was to take her to a scary clinic. Dickinson Animal Hospital was the farthest thing from that. We are so thankful for the way our family was treated in such an overwhelming time. Dr. Scott took the time to understand our situation and affirm our decision, which, without a doubt, was the only reason we were able to sleep last night. She explained the process perfectly, making the whole experience much more comfortable. And Kristin, the vet tech that helped us, was gentle and kind and all the things we so needed at that moment. I see a lot of reviews about how this clinic is expensive & how you can get services for much cheaper elsewhere, but you always get what you pay for. And when it comes to moments like these that produce memories that will linger in your head & heart forever, it's the compassion of people that makes the difference. The situation was difficult, but the experience could not have been better. Thank you Dickinson Animal Hospital!

If I could give zero stars I would. I had been a client of this clinic for 21 years. Trusted them with my pets. I needed to have my female dog 4 years old spayed (I waited this long because I was taking care of my elderly mother and then she passed away). All my friends couldn't believe I was going to pay $700.00 to have her spayed when Animal Allience was so cheap, it was because I tried them. They spayed her and she had a long incision and after two weeks she head healed nicely. Unfortunately 2 days later she refused to eat. I took her back 3 times and then I notice a hard area on her abdomen bilateral from her incision. They had to do emergency surgery she had peritonitis - her intestines were spilling out into her body. Then during the cleaning they found a mass. With a long incision and I sure they had her open wide enough to see anything unusual you'd think they would notice a mass. Long story short my dog didn't survive. I will never go to this clinic.

Dickinson Animal Hospital will kill your dog! Dr. KETTLER performed a very routine knee surgery 3 weeks ago. He insisted she needed that very day to fit his schedule and that he was the best in the field. Since the very day my dog came out of anesthesia she has been throwing up and cannot swallow. They deny their wrong doing, have no pre-op procedure, and bypass all fasting and pre-op protocol to rush non emergency surgery to get your money as quickly as possible. They've been rude on the phone, screen your calls and blame you for them destroying the life of a perfectly happy, healthy dog. My dog is slowly starving to death, and DYING in front of our eyes and this hospital won't even return your calls, he makes his non medically trained receptionist handle it. DR. KEVIN KETTLER you are a coward, a hack, and a money grabbing murderer.

Dr. Randall and the entire staff at Dickinson Animal Hospital is incredible! They always take the best care of not only my personal pups but also the multiple foster dogs that I have brought in. They have treated multiple complex problems including orthopedic surgery, mass removal, and neurological symptoms and they have treated them all with the utmost care and professionalism. They are always thorough and complete with there diagnosis and take the time to really explain the issue and the treatment plan so I know exactly what is going on. Anissa and Kristen always keep me up to date on how my guys are doing, Rachel and Cecelia are incredibly professional and courteous at the front desk, and Dr. Randall is incredibly competent and compassionate and always has a calming demeanor. The staff at Dickinson animal hospital is top notch and provide the absolute best care to their patients. There is no other place that I would take my kiddos to.

Extremely rude. The receptionist is very rude, unfriendly , and non-accommodating. Our dog had surgery and it was difficult to get any answers or follow up care after the surgery. We were told to send pictures of the wound and someone would call back to discuss, no one ever called back. My dogs Stitches came out and she had puss like fluid in her open wound. We called to get a quick appointment, the receptionist was extremely rude. When I asked do we drop her off or how does the appointment work, she talked as if I was d*** and instructed us we would have to sit outside of the hospital until they had time to see us. (She did not provide a timeline). She made it seem like our fault the dog needed a follow up appointment. Im a little confused since they are a animal hospital that does care for dogs. The customer service is great when they want you to pay for a surgery then patient care is complete crap when the hard part of nursing your animal back to health comes into play. Very upset with my choice of this hospital, after this follow up I will not be returning here and strongly encourage if you care for your pet do not go here.

Personable, reliable, trustworthy and has your pets best interest at heart. I brought my Pomeranian mix here to get a teeth cleaning and they provided step by step care, documentation and updates throughout the entire process. The staff is very kind and understanding. Paying for such a large procedure out of pocket is a stressful situation and they offered solutions to ease the cost while still providing appropriate care for Sable. Best prices when it comes to getting vaccines for your pup too. 10/10 recommend! I have had a wonderful experience here.

These people are a bunch of crooks who care more about revenue than your pet's well being. The first time I went I had a suspicion they didn't give my dog a vaccine I was charged for. When I kept getting reminders that she was overdue for the test, I called and, after putting me on hold to get their story straight, they told me all was fine and that she did receive the vaccine. The following year I took her to a cheaper clinic. I tried them again earlier this year. They acted like they didn't want to give me a prescription for her heart worm meds when I said I'd get them elsewhere. (Chewy.com is considerably cheaper for the same meds...) I later realized they only gave me a prescription for 6 months and not a full year. When I called to ask why, they said they had only given her a 6 month test. They never said anything about this or that I'd have to come back in 6 months at the time of the visit ONLY SO THEY CAN COLLECT MORE MONEY. Also, the last vet we saw was an older lady with zero people skills. My dog didn't even care for her. Find a vet where they'll actually care for your pet and not just their bottom line.w

Over-priced and not trust worthy. I was just in there with my 2 puppies for a routine health check 2 weeks ago. We talked about heartwormer and were interested in getting the shot for the dogs that lasts for a year. The vet wanted to wait on the shot a couple of weeks until they were old enough to handle the shot and suggested to come back under a nurse shot visit for the shot itself. I set the appt 2 weeks later and showed up for the shot at which they changed their story. Now I have to pay for a doctors exam for both puppies. They claim they never said anything about a nurses visit/shot. I had my wife and kids there at the time and can assure you they said differently! That's not how you build your practice. We were new patients but now it's clear we need to find a more honest reputable service vet.

I went today for the first time. I was really impressed. It smelled great (not like stinky dog)! I saw Dr Beckman who was super sweet and informative. Her nurse was Nicole, who was just as sweet and nice. The front desk clerk was Ceceli was very helpful. I made a return appt for my other dog for her yearly and shots.

Thanks for seeing Kitty on such short notice. The wait wasn't long, the vet and nurses were friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices were fair.
