As a small business owner, I look for ease of use. This branch has some awesome people working inside of it, but I don’t want to be forced to go to a physical location every time there is an issue. There are silly road blocks for confirming of identity, getting locked out of services, and most of the time the solution is “go to the branch in person”. If I am escalating an issue for calling customer service odds are it’s an urgent matter that I’m wanting to resolve more quickly than having to go in person. If you are someone who wants to have personal relationships with your bankers, this is 10000% the place for you, but if you are looking for quick, easy online or mobile access, and lower fees, I would consider elsewhere.

I GUESS P N C STANDS FOR ------people not caring ------ i asked and called to have a manager contact me regarding the $7600. OO THEY ARE HOLDING OF MINE AS THE CHECK HAS CLEARED MY BANK 2 DAYS NOW AND THEY VERIFIED THIS..... I GUESS THEY NEED MY MONEY TO OPERATE .......AND STILL NO RESPONSE FROM THE MANAGER ....

I literally was stuck in the drive thru for 1 hour waiting to make a deposit. Problem is there was only 2 cars that moved in.that hou . Rediculous. Dont try to call you get customer service. Never again.

This branch, and the one in Texas City, arbitrarily change their hours without prior notice to their customers, and without taking the thirty seconds required to update the hours online. I will be complaining to corporate, and I will likely be taking my account elsewhere due to poor management and lack of consideration for those who entrust this institution with OUR hard earned money.

I am about to discontinue business with this bank. This is the worst banking experience I have ever had in my 47 years. I encourage you to go elsewhere and save yourselves the grief. They take a week to process checks from local banks. They charge fees for everything, and I mean everything. They are arrogant. If there is a problem it’s always your fault. The straw that broke the camel’s back for me is that I pay myself with a check from my BBVA account to my personal account through their mobile deposit protocols. Over the time I have had my personal account ( from a different bank that I love doing business with), I have never had a problem depositing checks from a multitude of sources. This will be the second time BBVA rejects my check. There is money there, my personal bank credits the amount to my account and when it is ultimately rejected by BBVA because of poor image quality. Those funds are deducted and cause a lot of problems with my personal creditors in the form of NSF checks. BBVA makes it a chore to pay my household bills. This has happened once already. I’m going to pay $15 for a wire transfer today for something that is not my fault. I’m certain that even in the face of losing my business, I’m still going to have to eat that fee. I have to go into the branch to do all this. Mind you I’m trying to run a business and I certainly don’t have time for any of this. Since I have to take the time, it will be my last. Please don’t make the same mistake I did by opening an account with them. They get high marks on nerd wallet for being affordable fee wise. Not true. They will charge you for blinking. I suspect the reason they don’t accept my check images is because they want me to set up services, so they can charge me more fees. Frankly, I’d rather keep my money under the bed mattress.

I am writing this review based upon the customer service I received on a one-time visit. My mom had a CD with BBVA. It had not come to term meaning if she closed it, there could be substantial penalties. These penalties were large enough that it would offset what interest she had earned from the past three years. Due to some unforeseen health issues for my mother, I was forced to close this account early. I won't go into the specifics of her situation but after showing all of the legal documents and POA, the branch manager made several phone calls to the corporate offices of BBVA and convinced them to wave all of the fees that would have been put against the account. Like I said, these fees could have been substantial had she not cared or tried to help me (slightly less than $1000 in fees). I really appreciate the effort that the branch manager put forth in this situation. She did a superb job and should be commended. I could not let this type of great service go unrecognized.

They have stolen money out of my moms account 6 times in within 3 years (over $2,000) now they don’t want to refund her!
