Kimberly in loans is very knowledgeable about the best deals or how to set your vehicle to the price you can afforded.Dani in member services takes the time to help listen to your needs and express how your account works. Also the tellers are so wonderful.So thankful for each of them.

It’s a rare thing to discover a credit union that genuinely cares about the people it serves and North East Texas Credit Union is that kind of credit union. I have been a member of NETCU Diana, TX branch since about 2016. I have had terrible luck with banks in the past, and I’m here tell you that with this bank, you will expect nothing but excellent service. They have very friendly staff that are always ready to help you with whatever questions, or concerns you might have. Just an all around awesome bank!!

every time i walk in the lady’s at the front are always so nice and always greet me with a smile and a helloi’ve never had a bad experience when i walk in even if they are busy everyone is still so nicethe loan department ladies are always so helpful and understanding when i was trying to get a loan they explained everything every step of the way so i knew what to do and how to do it

Response to the owner: no, there’s not really anything to discuss. We applied for a loan, with fair to decent credit and plenty of income and you denied it. We have been members for almost a year, never had any overdrafts or anything. With great income and close to 700 credit score, I don’t know what else you want. The least you could’ve done was call and say we were denied so we could go elsewhere. Instead we had to call 3 different times trying to get through to somebody, just to be told the decision had been mailed out. Hardly personable. Then, when we went to close the account because apparently this credit union would be of zero use to us; we got nothing but short answers, huffing and puffing and eye rolling from your employee. We went to Guaranty Bank in Longview and were approved within minutes, and for 3x the amount we asked you for. Guaranty has our business now. Work on your customer service. That is all.We joined the credit union to have a smaller and more personal experience. We had hoped they were someone who could help us achieve our goals, but we were wrong. A few people were friendly, but for the most part everyone at the Diana branch were rude. I can’t tell you one time I was treated nicely at the drive through. Those people were ALWAYS rude, and met with eye rolling on the simplest requests. If the ATM ever worked, I wouldn’t have had to bother the people in the drive through to do their jobs. Oh well. We found a bank that would help us do what we needed the same day of being denied by the credit union.

Don’t expect to get good service just because they’re a smaller credit union. Being an over the road truck driver I always seem to come in at the first of the month and they wouldn’t let me get a new debit card because they say their machine is too busy. Now I’m coming home on the 18th and they want to charge me $15. Then when they get your complaint they’ll call you just to repeat what you complained about. I can get the same lousy service at big institutions. I’m taking my business elsewhere and suggest you do the same.
