Have 3 vehicles tried to schedule oil changes on all of them...Marie in service is horrible...Rude!!! Never did get my trucks scheduled....She couldn't answer a question I asked...

Sold me a vehicle that broke down not even a week after purchase didnt fix it like they said they would. Carfax was clean but paint on the bed of the truck was done and looks awful after a few months need to get it repainted. Stay away

On Monday 7/28/24 I called and scheduled an appointment for 8/1/24 for an oil change and asked if the recall could be taken care of at the same time. I was informed they will try to get it taken care of and a Service Manager will call me to discuss it. I never received a call, text or email from anyone. I arrived at the dealership a little before 8:00 AM for my scheduled appointment thinking everything is good to go. I mentioned the recall to the Service Advisor upon check in. He let me know they will try to get it taken care. Once the service was done the cashier came to get me. I asked her if the recall was taken care of. The same service advisor was in the room and informed me they do not have any mechanics on duty to do it. I explained that I scheduled this to be done and cannot make it in any other day. They offered to pick the vehicle up for the service. I explained I live and work in Spring Branch (just like I explained it to the scheduler.) They said that is too far for pick up. I expressed my disappointment. Their response was "sorry." I drove 146 miles round trip for an oil change and still have a open recall on my vehicle.
Also, apparently there is an issue with my brakes that no one discussed with me. Thankfully "BRAKES REQUIRE IMMEDIATE ATTENTION" is written a few time on the invoice.
One more thing. This part isn't about money but the principle. It's pretty sad when a FORD Dealership charges a 3% surcharge to use a FORD Visa as a payment for service on a FORD that was purchased there.

Great experience at the parts and service department! I needed emergency key blades for my ford mustang, and these guys really helped me out.
*Edit: sad to say that recently I’ve had some trouble getting service for my vehicle. I’ve had a recall for my ford vehicle and am unable to get a set date for that service. This is understandably okay, seeing that there are many requests for this service. The only issue I experienced was not getting a call back for a second time for scheduling. Sorry guys, might have to start going to another dealership.

I want to thank Stephan Rood, for helping me get a very reliable vehicle after so much struggling I was able to drive off in a newer vehicle, he went above and beyond to get us in the ford explore and I will forever be thankful.
I recently lost my husband in April 2024 and had been feeling very lost and having a bunch of car trouble, I seen this vehicle and everything came together and I feel it was meant to be so thank you ford Chaparral for giving me the opportunity and great customer service.
