These people are jokes. the guy who owns this is just robbing the community. He's charging $75 for a 5-quart. When it costs $25 at Walmart. He charged me almost $100 for a oil change on a 2014 Traverse

I went to Kwik Kar 2/8/24 and here are some key points.
1. I parked my car outside the bay for "State Inspections"
2. No one came over, so I went inside. The guy had a weird smile when he greeted me - a mix of nervous/guilty - made note, but let it go. The 1st guy looked at my insurance, did not enter me into the system for service - even though I asked if he was going to (because my contact information is on the insurance card - preventing me from having to say it out loud - which I hate in a crowded room of strangers - giving my name address and phone number).
3. A second guy, may be the manager, peeped in from outside and asked what I was there for and if I had handed over the keys, I said "inspection and yes the keys are in it".
4. He gets in my car and moves it, driving it AROUND the building. I figured he was doing the first part of the inspection. When he gets out, I see he has the diagnostic machine in his hands - the expensive one with a tablet size screen.
5. They have me there 30+ minutes and the 1st guy calls me out to say the CHECK ENGINE light was on and that it passed for safety but would not pass the machine.
6. I was shocked! It was not on before! I wouldn't be dumb enough to roll in there with it on for an inspection!
7. I asked "What did he do to it?" The guys response? "He didn't open the hood, he just moved it." WHAT?? The hood? Where did that come from? I just looked at him and got in and left.
8. I believe the guy, who looked to be the manager, drove it out of sight, disconnected the MAF to manually trigger the CHECK ENGINE, so they could offer to do diagnostics and charge me more. But the 1st guy saw I was suspicious and didn't try it.
9. I go out this morning after I think about it and the MAF was loose, I had to put it back to secure it and check engine went off!!!!
10. From now on, I stay out there and keep my eye on my car for oil changes and inspections. When I look back, just like in a movie, I can see SCAM all over their actions.
Took my car to another place this morning - passed - no issue - not even 24 hours later. I'm reporting Kwik Kar to the Texas Attorney General to get it on record. BEWARE OF THE 1021 E PLEASANT RUN LOCATION.

This place is an absolute joke. Went there to get a State Inspection done at 8am. The so called inspector casually walks in at 8:30am. Scans the truck ahead of me and then proceeds to kill about 10mins fiddling with his phone. Then he remembers he has to hook that truck up to the OBD scanner. But hey, let's play with the phone some more again. At 8:45am, he was still on his phone so I ended up leaving. If you don't want to work, don't effin come to work.

Excellent customer service. The gentleman with the dreads made sure my service was great and quick due to an engagement I needed to attend with my son. He was also very polite and personable. Thank you

If I could give this 0 stars I would. This place is a joke. "Kwik" they mean slow. The time it takes is not even funny. They don’t even really fix the car, they are just after money. I ABSOLUTELY do NOT recommend this place. Do not go here unless you want to basically come in there with a broken car and come out with a broken car and a empty wallet.

Received oil change on Saturday and soon after had oil leak. Went back up there so it could be fixed only to go home and wake up the next morning with another oil leak. Car did not have a leak before going in Saturday morning to get oil change. Sunday they are closed so I will be calling first thing Monday morning to try and get this problem fixed.Service: Oil change

This place is quick and doesn't try to sell you a lot of stuff. You go in for an oil change and 10-15 minutes later you're driving away.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! My bf went to go get an oil changed on my car today. He asked if he could see the filter, after given permission to step to the back, he heard one of the employees, Robert, talking bad about not only us, but everyone else there, in Spanish. He then started cussing at my bf, getting aggravated with him for no apparent reason!!! He went on cussing him out in Spanish and then threw the filter at him! Seriously cannot believe they hire people like that! Called and complained and was just told by the manager that they gave him a “discount and that should be more than enough.” WORST PLACE EVER!!!Service: Oil change

This place was an absolute joke. We stopped in to get a fuel filter changed. The fuel filter is an easy change out. They said it would be 250 dollars. I left and went to the auto parts store and the filter was 25 dollars. Took me 10 minutes. I can't believe it would have cost 225 dollars in labor
