This Dollar General is a bad representation of the entire company. Why is it 11am and the store is closed with no explanation?! This would never happen in suburban neighborhoods.

This is a horrible store they always have issues it's always a loong line then wen they see it's too long card onlynow cash people have to leave they really need to close it down I'm so tired of that store

Second time I have come to this store and they close early it is 9:15pm and the store hours say 10pm. Dirtiest unprofessional store I have ever been to. VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER ?

Rude trying to sale Christmas stuff for half off and overwrite the prices on the person in front of me but no everyone rude this was the manager

If I could give it a negative I would employees have a trash attitude. All the prices in the store say one thing on the shelf and another when you get to the register 5 items incorrect and the manager says tge employees can change it but they don't. There lazy. Dollar general gm needs to come in because this is ridiculous.

This Dollar General in Desoto doesn’t open up on time. It be 7am they’ll open at 7:30am smh. This location is terrible. Location needs to be shutdown or find a better management team. They probably in the back doing things they shouldn’t be doing… The manager might be a drunk.

Horrible service! My wife went here at 7 am on Saturday morning 7/23. While she was getting out child out of the car this young black kid ran to his car from inside the store. We thought he was just a customer so didn't think much of it. Well after getting a shopping cart and we headed back inside the store the black kid ran back inside the store and locked the doors before we reached them. We checked the time and it says they open at 7. Regardless if they weren't open yet he could've let us know instead of just locking the doors. There were other cars in the parking so I'm assuming they were all workers. But I guess no one wanted to work today because we waited outside till 8 and nothing yet. This is why you can't hire people like this super unacceptable and irresponsible just lazy a** people. Get it together DG!

This store has the worse service ever. I have went to the store three times for a return and havent been able to because the cashier's on duty are unable to complete the transaction. That's insane!!!! Next stop is corporate and the Better Business Bureau!!

This is the nicest $ general I've been in & I've been in a lot due to a couple jobs I've had !! It's clean you can get through the isles & the people who work there are awesome !! Props to the entire crew , y'all rock !!

I just left out the store with my purchase and it did not work. I decided to return it since I was already in the parking lot. I walked back in and asked to return it. The guy told me I can only do in store exchange since I did not have the receipt, even though I just left out the store less than 5 minutes prior. He didn’t give me the receipt even though it was printed he assumed I didn’t want it and threw it in the trash. His attitude was bad when I told him to get it out the trash. He told me it’s up to the customer to request the receipt. If it was printed it should’ve been handed to me with my change. No customer should have to ASK for their receipt. Bad customer service skills

I WANT A BETTER EXPERIENCE FOR MY EVERY DAY DOLLARS. I go to this store because it's the closest but they have horrible customer service. One of the ladies there is just rude or could use some ppl training. The store is not stocked properly and cluttered for them to ONLY OPEN 1 REGISTER as they all act as if they are so busy stocking they can't speak or help.

Manager has no customer service skills at all! He needs to be retrained! Barely says two words to the customers. No hello, thank you, here’s your total or here’s your receipt or nothing and he talks on his phone while checking you out and still doesn’t acknowledge the customers. I purchase a few things from the 75% off basket, but they were still regular price. He did try to adjust but really didn’t know how. Store was cluttered, hard to walk around AND the line was long and slow!
