You cannot understate how important it is to have people like Diana Leggett in your community. The strength it takes to devote your life to taking in and caring for vulnerable animals is a righteous and powerful calling.An accident led me to bring an injured squirrel to Diana - she took it in with a promise to do her best. What more can we ask? Her kindness (and that of a stranger that helped me rescue the injured animal) softened the sad circumstances and reminded me that there are good people, the “helpers” Fred Roger’s spoke of, when we look for them.Look for Diana/WildRescue, Inc and donate if you can. She is doing her best and we should all be thankful for it.

Found this baby bunny, immediately googled wildlife rescue and Diana popped up as well as having her reocmmended by my neighbors. Took the bunny straight to her. She was very nice! I'm sure this won't be the last time I take something to her thanks to my dog

Wonderful service. Took in a baby bunny that had some significant damage. Hopefully things turn out well for little bunny. Apparently this person has been doing this for 30 plus years. God bless her!

Very rude and condescending. I saved a baby animal and took care of it all night. The next day I called with no answer, then I texted her, no answer. I couldn't continue taking care of it so I decided to just drive there. I parked in front of her house and she came outside. She immediately had a bad attitude. Her yard looked like it hasn’t been mowed in years. She was very rude and condescending. Her communication skills are terrible, she told me I should have texted her first, in which I corrected her stating that I called and texted. She just made the excuse that she was busy. The rudest person I have come across in a long time. I wish I would have kept the animal because I would have taken care of it with love.

We found baby bunny orphans in our yard they were so dehydrated and no sign of a there mother for days . We called wild rescue and asked for help and she said she would love to . The bunnies are safe and have a chance at a full life . Thank you for all you do .

Thank you! Diana took in an injured wild rabbit I found on the side of the road. She responded to my text within minutes at 9 am on a Saturday morning and immediately offered to help. When I showed up with the rabbit she immediately met me outside and took the rabbit in. Thankful for animal lovers like her that improve the lives of animals in need!In response to reviews commenting on communication - the voicemail specifically asks you to text her. Communication is not a problem.

The woman isn't exactly fuzzy and warm, nor syrupy sweet, but she CARES about animals. She may not win a congeniality contest, but she is not concerned with popularity. She cares for the animals that need rescue, just as you do. She knows it's humans that don't want to be saved.If you are looking for someone to coddle YOU, then go to church. If you're looking for someone knowledgeable about animal rescue, willing to rescue, and able to take them in for you, give her a call. PS... treat her with the same respect you'd like to see her give the animals you bring to her.Thank you for saving the fledgling doves for me!To the owner: Update your Zelle, please, so we can give to your cover expenses. ❤️

I called and she wasn't able to pick up the phone due to being busy plus it was barely 10am in the morning when I found a dead mama possum on the side of the road with 4 babies. I did show up thinking it was a rescue but it was this lady's house! She said thank you for bringing them in and there was no malice in her voice at all for me. She cares about these animals. Funnily enough another lady was dropping off bunnies at the same time.For those saying she was rude have how ever considered maybe she's tired on those days?? She was the only one I saw and she's doing her best. If I had extra money I would have definitely wrote this extraordinary woman a check to help with expenses.Thank you so much for taking the babies in!

Found 5 adorable wild bunnies, at my school. I was worried my student would accidentally hurt them. Plus other predators could get them .I wanted to take care of them ourselves but was afraid we would do more harm then good. Thank goodness I found Wildlife Rescue. She was able to take them in and she promised to help them stay safe. I’m also happy she was open pass 6pm.

“People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” – Maya AngelouI am merely one of likely thousands of people who have brought her wildlife. I am nobody to her – I get that. However, from MY POINT OF VIEW, I took her an injured baby rabbit with its ear lopped off by a lawnmower, and I would like an update on THAT particular baby. I have no doubt that she is doing right by all the animals handed over to her and for that alone I give her kudos, but my husband and I too gave our hearts, caring, tears, time, gas, mileage, and a donation, to bring it to her, and she can’t even post an update/picture on Facebook, when she said she would post something the evening of April 30? It is now May 7 and we brought the injured baby to her April 26, and I have not seen one single mention/picture on her Facebook account.I know this much: should I require assistance again with injured or needful wildlife, I will not waste my time, gas, miles, or donation, driving to Denton, to be treated as a 'necessary evil' to relay needy animals into her hands.
