Huge inconvenience that I needed medication within a certain timeframe and I called but was placed on hold for over 30 minutes. While I was on hold I drove to this location and found a sign on the drive thru window saying there is staff shortage and are closed until 3:30. If there was simply a message saying that on the Walgreens pharmacy line that would have helped but I am now at another Walgreens waiting on a prescription to be filled an hour and a half before my MRI. The prescription was sent to the pharmacy at 8:30 this morning.

Complete incompetence at this pharmacy. And not just with one person, with everyone I came in contact with which was about 5 different people. I’ll be going somewhere else going forward.

The pharmacy customer service here is always so bad. They are so difficult to work with and act like you're just an inconvenience to them. They absolutely will not do anything to help you out if there is an issue. You have to work it out yourself. I would use another pharmacy but it's the only one in my area approved by my insurance.

This review is for the Walgreen's Pharmacy on University Dr. If it were possible I would give them a minus 5 stars. I was a customer of Drug Emporium. When Drug Emporium closed all of our prescriptions were transferred to Walgreen's. I was told by Drug Emporium that I could transfer my prescription to any other pharmacy of my choosing. However, I decided to give Walgreen's a chance. Boy was I sorry. The pharmacy tech was very rude and made it clear that she did not have time to deal with me or my questions! There were only two other people waiting? So I decided to go on down the street to the Albertson's Pharmacy. There was only one Pharmacist on duty however, he was very polite and professional. He took down all of my info so he can have my prescriptions transferred to Albertson's. No more Walgreen's for me!

Not pleased with the service of this pharmacy. Looks like it has been the same for several people for a year or so now. I could go on and on about my experience but it is not like the situation will get better. I’m pretty easy going when people lack customer service but when they blame the customer that is just ridiculous. Walgreens train your people better. Do better!

For years I have enjoyed dealing with this pharmacy especially in California however I find the experience was not up to par in Texas and I don't know why. In any case, they were friendly.

If you really want your prescriptions, go somewhere else and save yourself the time and headache and go somewhere else. I have had issues in the past, but I went back in today to drop off a prescription anyway because I really needed it done. I dropped it off at 4pm and they tell me that are very backed up and it could be 2 hours before it's ready. I said fine and went home. 2 hours later I get a call from them saying that the Dr wrote the wrong date on the prescription and they can't fill it. I asked her why they couldn't have told me that at 4 when I dropped it off because the Dr was still open and I could have had them change it but now they are closed. The manager gets sarcastic and starts berating me over the phone, she was so freaking rude. Now my son has no medicine and I have to wait until tomorrow to fix it with the Dr! I will NEVER go there again and I suggest you do the same!
