The employees here were very welcoming and positive, which helped me and my parent feel a lot more secure about going to a gym. The machines there worked very well, even with the occasional broken one that would soon be fixed. The layout of everything was convenient and easy to get familiar with. Those are all the things saving this review from being 1 star.
The reason we chose this gym is because of how affordable the prices were, at least that's what we thought. We both signed up for the Club membership of only $9.99 monthly since it provided only what we needed. I was fully aware of the $79 enrollment fee as well as the 12 month agreement. I was fine with those terms, so we bought the 2 memberships and paid the enrollment fee.
What we weren't aware of was the annual fee of $55 + tax and a service fee for using a credit card to pay with, things of which we found out today. So, in reality, first, $9.99 became $12.98 a month ($25.96 for the 2 of us). Second, the $79 enrollment fee is, in a way, $138 (because of tax), just with a 35 day delay, since you have to pay an annual fee and the club membership requires you to stay well over 35 days. Now, one may argue how the annual fee + tax was written at the bottom in small, light gray print (making it difficult to see with my eyes), but I will admit, that's my fault for not reading more carefully. However, the person who was taking care of us when we enrolled into the gym NEVER mentioned a word about these other fees, only the $79 enrollment and $9.99 monthly cost.
What I thought was going to be $318.76 by the end of the 12 months is going to turn out to be around $449.52 (if I did my math correctly.) Paying a bit over $300 was already taking a lot out of our budget since we aren't exactly high on cash, but paying almost $450 is a price I never would've agreed to and would've just searched for another gym.
So unless you have this kind of extra money, I suggest trying to find a different gym or to simply buy some basic equipment and work out at home.

Really great place! Very clean, plenty of equipment to avoid waiting in line for certain machines. Excellent choice of TV channels. Would recommend Ramon for personal training!

Great gym for price point. Not as packed as surrounding gyms in the area, machines are well maintained and clean. Specifically am in love with the incline chest press machine they have here

Friendly staff, clean and plenty of space for free weights. I wish there were more locations nearby where I live (76227 Aubrey). It would be nice having feedback from the corporation on future projects for north Texas area.

I love going here, the people are always so friendly and helpful. The personal training is the best I’ve ever had! Jerry, the personal training manager, will put you with the best trainer for you. I work with Ramon and he’s my favorite trainer that I’ve ever worked with. Sam, the manager, is one of the nicest people you’ll meet.I highly recommend this gym

The staff is always such a pleasure to be around and work with Jerry has great customer service and will get you set up with y’all your account needs. Taro is a great personal trainer and accountability partner. It doesn’t matter if you’re a morning or evening person when it comes to the gym the staff will make you feel welcome. Not to mention the membership isn’t crazy expensive and child care is available!

Been here for a year. Jerry is awesome and very knowledgeable. The new GM is very cool and helpful. Taro (professional coach) will get you working and he’s great. Plus my kid loves kids club. Hands down- great club

Great equipment, good size of gym but my main concern is the course of action and responsibility of the employees at this location. I left this gym months ago and I’m still being billed monthly. I have called many times to speak with management but they are never available to speak. Also, they will make you feel guilty for leaving their gym which is totally unprofessional.

TFF has been my fitness home for 5 years now and I cannot imagine ever going anywhere else. They know me here and that means a lot. I really like the focus on functional movements as evident by the turf in the middle of the gym. It’s not all about the machines like other gyms. These folks are my fitness family and this place is my sanctuary.

Hands down love this gym! I came from fitness connection for the child care but I love that even during busy hours you can still get to machines and everyone is so friendly. It’s also super clean! 5 stars for sure

Wonderful place to work out, clean and friendly personell. However, DO NOT sign up for their coaching program/personal trainer program (especially if committing long term, maybe month to month may work, I dunno, can only speak of my experience which was horrible), it was a rip-off for me. I was locked in for 3 months, and barely received half of the sessions I paid for due to gross unprofessionalism. Their trainers would fail to communicate back on scheduling sessions and would cancel sessions without adequate notice or double book a session. I almost thought it was a me problem cz it felt like it was such a basic ask I couldn't understand why this was even an issue in the first place, I mean it's as simple as "I am available on xyz date and time, do you have availability? Yes or No. If no, what about this other day e.t.c period!" at least I thought it shouldn't be an ask/big ask for that matter.... but after communicating with management through the whole ordeal and showing receipts, they agreed that communication is a bare minimum, just like I thought. Anyway, after trying different coaches and being promised the next one is different/basic communicator(as I would call it), and coming back to management with the same feedback , I was done after 1 month! How does having 4 coaches in just 1 month sound? Yeah! Exactly! It's like a new one each week!! I concluded "the whole bag" is the same! It literary starting feeling like a chore for a minute, and I even started having anxiety each time I am introduced to a new coach (which is craaaiiizy) my goodness!!! I wanted out! But guess what! "I signed a commitment and it is non-cancellable" that's what I got. In other words, "we will still draft your money regardless of whether we gave you service or not" that's what I heard. So yeah! they get to keep my money for free, but at this point I think my piece of mind is more important! Thank God they encourage month-month gym membership, otherwise it would've been another coerced donation! BEWARE!!PS: Corporate will not help!!!

Finally found a gym that's clean, well staffed and my two year old can attend the kids club without being a "liability". Highly recommend this gym especially after touring the others gyms in the area.

I really enjoy This gym. It's small and not to Intimidating the staff are really nice. I feel comfortable going here.They also have the best child care room My child really enjoys that children room versus other ones at another gym. I used to go to period she actually cry when it's time to leave. Because she do not want to leave. It is the best child care room for little kids.

Nice gym however the AC in the Ignite Room has not been working for a couple of months. I enjoyed the ignite class so much but Istopped attending, it is so hot to workout in that room. As a member that pays punctual every month I demand this issue to be taken care of. I wonder if the gym will issue membership discounts until they take care of the AC issue. And PLEASE you NEED more personnel in the kids club, not to mention it smells bad in there.

The gym was great for me until about 2 months ago. We had an incident in the child care room. I field a complaint and haven’t hear a thing back. Many times there is only one child care worker in there at a time, it’s impossible for them to see everything. It’s unsafe.Also we have recently been getting random charges… saying they had the wrong billing info when it billed just fine the month prior. Very strange. Doesn’t makes sense.Also, the AC has been out in the Ignite room for 6 weeks I believe? Over the summer! It’s horrible! Hoping that’s fixed by now.
