This woman knows how to color! I have had SO MANY terrible experiences with color and hadn’t done anything to my hair in almost 2 years, just needing it to recover. I found Allie this week and I’m glad I did. She is fun to talk to and SO TALENTED. Remember, that license in the frame DOES NOT GUARANTEE the person is good at doing everything. Found my new hair-home at this beautiful salon and in Kristin Gates's chair. I have had some less than appealing haircuts since Covid and went for a whole year without going to a stylist. Needless to say my hair was way too long, limp, and lifeless. Kristin took great care of me and brought life back into my hair, I have a newfound sense of confidence in my appearance, and I felt like she intuitively knew what I needed after a quick consult. She's experienced, open, fun, and talented. The perfect combo! I highly recommend Kristin and the salon itself is gorgeous, open concept but also somewhat private at the same time. Very cool vibes. Overall a winner!

Allie did such a lovely job with my extensions! I was worried the color might be off but she was able to make it look like I had a seamless balayage. She’s very entertaining to talk with as well, and her dog Zero is just adorable. He was on my lap for most of the appointment! This was my first experience with extensions but I can tell she knows what she’s doing :) I’m obsessed with my new hair!!

previously went in dec 2022 with Stephanie, very amazing stylist did very well and was kind to me and gave me exactly what I wanted and more! decided to go back in march of 2023 and was very disappointed. cassidy did not give me the hair style I wanted, even though I acknowledged and understood how my hair was a different length from the reference picture I still wanted the style. apparently that was too much to ask for. my hair looks NOTHING like the reference picture and my layers are SUPER uneven and choppy. had to show her the reference picture 6+ times and she still somehow got it wrong. it was very obvious she had no idea what she was doing, I only noticed this after she chopped my hair off so it was too late. would've been totally okay with going to someone else if she wasn't experienced enough with the type of cut but she still attempted anyways. tried to be nice and try something new but was very disappointed. I am so embarrassed of my hair over 2 months later, my hair still uneven, my right side has more hair than my left side, i was so upset I left the salon crying, very hesitant to come back

I have to give a huge shout out to Ciera at Denton Beauty House. I was looking for a stylist that I could go to regularly because I was going to Supercuts just for routine haircuts. I wanted a transformation that involved adding bangs and dying my hair a teal color. Initially, I wanted to do an all over color, but Ciera was very knowledgeable and suggested we do a peek-a-boo hairstyle where we only dyed the bottom section of my hair and some front pieces. She explained that this would be more cost effective in the end because it was an hourly rate, less application time, less money to pay. I agreed to do so and appreciated her catering to my financial needs while still making sure I liked the end result.Not only is Ciera one of the most talented hairdressers I know, she is super comfortable to talk to. She clarified what we were going to do to my hair and made sure our visions matched. I’m way more on the shy end and we talked like we had known eachother for the longest time. She really took the time to get to know me while being in her chair, offered me something to drink multiple times. Ciera also made sure to go over all the steps of achieving my hair goals, and explain what she was doing. I’m glad she warned me about the bleach on my roots because I had not had bleach on my hair in a long time. There was a tingling sensation, but went away as the processing time progressed.My hair turned out just the way I wanted, and she even went over aftercare (i.e how to make the color last longer, what products to use). She told me to reach out if I ever had any questions as well. I am very grateful to have met Ciera; she truly makes you feel so special and cares about her clients. I will for sure be a regular here so long as I live near Denton. ?

I am a regular of Gracie’s and followed her here from her previous salon! She is always so friendly and kind to me and I cannot recommend her enough. She listens to what you want and always does a fantastic job. I leave feeling great and everyone always has nothing but compliments about my hair. I used to be terrified of professional hair stylists due to horrible experiences before and Gracie was the first person I trusted besides my husband to touch my hair in 2+ years. I wanted a stylist who wouldn’t make me feel uncomfortable, who would respect me as a person and my pronouns, and be open to what I wanted to do with my hair. I used to have panic attacks after going to the hairdresser and never thought I would step foot in one again. Gracie has repaired not only my actual hair but my relationship with my hair, and trusting professionals with it. The shop is also beautiful and all the other staff I have met have been very kind as well! I live in Plano so it’s quite a drive, but I do it every time because it’s so worth it! Cannot recommend her enough.

Allie has been doing my blonde for years, and she has nurtured my difficult-to-color hair through my obsessions with fashion colors, hair extensions, and more recently, a styling tool accident where I burned off half my hair ? Allie saved the day with a shaggy pixie cut that I was constantly complimented on.
She is great at suggesting products to remedy whatever mess I have going on, and I also love the new vibe inside with the remodel!

I’m really glad I went to Denton beauty house it’s the best experiences I’ve had since moving to Denton. I got my hair done by Allie who did an amazing job and really knows her stuff. She had my hair feeling soft and healthy. She was so nice and even helped me pick out hair products to use for my hair type which was something I had a hard time doing myself. The shop is very beautiful with such an amazing atmosphere!!!!
